That's not what he's saying man. He uses Serato & Traktor himself. He's just letting it be known to all these new kids that you have it easy & there's no excuse to not knowing your breaks or still going out & digging when you have the chance. I run into far too many kids these days that refuse to even look for vinyl in the .50 cent bins because they can rip it illegally online. THAT'S NOT HOW DJ'ING WAS BUILT! You have to respect the art, the craft, & the struggle.
Yesssaaahhh!! Scratch knows his breaks. It's good to see some of these new kids are going back to digging for records. Not all of em.. but I see you young kids geeking out over records.. keep doing what you're doing.
Holy shiii...(grabbing pen) Thank you Scratch! You just expanded my music knowledge. And I thought I knew a little something about beats & breaks... Not to mention Scratch is one of the ILLEST DJ's alive, big up!
@bigge525 its simple evolution and it happens in any industry. Most of the DJ's today are young hipster cats that never will have the chance to live the days of actually hearing these jams. I am so glad I had a DJ uncle and a mother who had tons of old 45's.
@dar1e08 Well obviously you're trolling, you were scouring this video for comments to respond to that were directed toward someone else. You didn't need to call it out, we all got it.

Scratch was semi-correct; that beat was on "Run For Cover" on the "Let ..." album.
At least 2 songs in this video have been sampled by Cypress Hill in their early days.
