Hopefully they go back and touch up that battery tray, it was rusty AF. It's a small part, but it's small details like that separate the garage mechanic from a true craftsman.
Love the work you fellas do and I LOVE the use of NEW parts and the cleanness :) I never miss an episode of POWERNATION. :) I also like the idea of having the fuel filter in the engine bay, much easier for changing.

@MsErica647 stronger and doesn’t harden and rot like rubber will. That’s just a lazy install IMO. If it was the right way to do it then the Big 3 would have done it in the factory.
Where did I go wrong in life? "A CHERRY PICKER WITH JOY STICKS" jm going back to delivering newspapers like when I was twelve where I could trudge through the snow and rain and freezing temps when I could hold my head up high!
But I figured out from electric fans you need more than 4200 cfms going through the radiator especially if you got air conditioning to keep everything running fine
I had a '67 with a 406 with a Crane cam and Brodix heads, a Tremec five speed, Recaro seats, some suspension bits, and lots of cool parts just waiting to upgrade it with (Speedtech spindles, Baer Racing six piston brake kit, Global West tubular control arms). The car, and all of the parts, burned in the Camp Fire. I've pretty much given up on my dream of having a cool first gen Camaro, they are just too expensive now. I'm looking to buy a C5 Z06, something I can have fun with as is. I'm too old for a years long project car.
those fans are vary good for health... you can put away all the little things in the shop, then turn the fan speed to 100%. it will kick up all the asthmatic dust and with an open door it can then evacuate all the dust from the shop. 25-40mph winds
That fuel line routing in the engine compartment would be the first thing I would have to fix. That was jenky. Plus rubber lines, doesn't give me confidence.
Well if we were sll so lucky to have unlimited budgets to build cars with ! Good grief ! I guess some people dedicate all their debt load to vehicle builds . But in my house we live on a real budget and shop with Cash !
Why is this edited like someone else is doing all of the work? Seriously, everything being done is juuuust off camera or juuust finished when the camera cuts in. It legitimately feels 100% fake, which makes all of the obvious sponsorship feel shady AF.
One thing to consider is that doing work on camera takes much longer than doing it off. When you work on camera you have to wait for the camera to be in place, and take the right shot before you move on. If you just throw it together with cameras off it takes a lot less time.
@@samthelegoman3990 If they were operating the cameras themselves that might be a reasonable idea, but they clearly have a camera operator. It gets even weaker when you consider all of the other channels where one person does everything on their own and manages to at least look like they are doing the work, instead of reading lines from a prompter while pretending to do something in that engine bay thing. It really isn't that hard to point a camera at an engine bay and actually turn a wrench. I have no idea whether that's what is happening here, but it is definitely what it looks like based on how they chose to edit the footage (something that happens well after the footage was shot).
First thing I would do after winning that car would be pull the engine and transmission out and put a 565 big block Chevy in there about a thousand horsepower and get rid of that transmission and put a 6-speed manual transmission in there and then you'd have something to sing songs with when you went to the gears
These 2 are my favorite cast of this show.
Yep
Absolutly
Definitely.👍👍
I miss Rick bacon
@@tavianhorton281 Rick was good on the show as well.

What a 'gift',.... somebody's going to be a very happy person!
Next time try the Big Texas Cinnamon Roll. They're pretty good! Then offset with some push ups. lol
9:49 I’d be using a steel fuel line like the factory did.
@MsErica647 Yes. It's far less likely to leak if it happens to end up rubbing against something.
@MsErica647 stronger and doesn’t harden and rot like rubber will. That’s just a lazy install IMO. If it was the right way to do it then the Big 3 would have done it in the factory.
@Joshua Bullock wjat does coat minded mean, is that a regional thing or a typo?
@@johnmilner7603 cause the big 3 are known for the engineering prowess right? LOL
The band playing the music while Tommy is installing the exhaust in case anyone's wondering is Rage Against the Machine Shop
One day ill have a car this clean
“Don’t make me call your mom “ mfs know nothing but kids watch this shit 😭🔥💯
I've prayed about this car and the Lord is going to give it to me I'm sure of that
Yup, this episode was FANtastic!
I can hardly contain my excitement on the giveaway in the build of the 69 Camaro
Ha! Just dawned on me why there’s a Mopar and a Mustang in the intro. Tommy’s a Mopar guy and Mark is Mr. Mustang....
Beautiful car with nice cruising accessories!
Great build. Personally I know there's a few things I'd be changing if I won this. Like the shitty rubber fuel line.

When is the Buick going to be finished? That one has me excited.
I'm waiting to for the Buick
Same here but this camaro is pretty cool but to me not as cool as the Buick to me because I had one. There bad ass in there on rite.
Waiting on the Buick too
7👍's up guys thanks again for taking us all along with you for the great show
I think it's very good that you don't ls swap it
The first engine was hp at the wheels & the second was at the crank. It didn't make a whole lot more hp. But it needed replaced anyway.
Nice POA elimination. A Sanden is easy to bolt in place of an A6, with a spacer.
these people can tear up a good car.....can't they?
I'm sure it's because MagnaFlow paid you but, why would you install that exhaust before you put in the driveshaft???

This Camaro is beautiful! I sure hope to win it!
I like the rs light in and I have 69 Camaro hood and tunk bages
all that work to put the battery in a rusty tray. wow
Tommy's my favorite because he's funny especially when he wore the blonde wig and the police outfit.
i was wondering when the next camaro video was gonna get uploaded. you guys are doing awesome job keep up the good work
My Dream car.
Duralast's ProPower series batteries are available to professionals only. Thanks for the useless promo for all the DIYers that watch your show.
The accessory drive kit would be even better if it came with ARP 12 pt. bolts instead of those hex socket bolts.
Yeah good call 👍
Looking amazing.
Cost 80000 bucks
Hmmm
I dont need an extra car for now
SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL 🔥🔥🔥🏁

A classic muscle car should have proper classic wheels.
Rubber fuel lines really lazy!

Be a shame to do all that mechanical work and not get that vinyl top off n the rust under it around the glass.

Go electric
Fuel won't evaporate under pressure. The heat shield is pointless. The hose is literally self cooking due to the fuel flow.
