I've never been a Tom Cruise fan but then why do I enjoy almost every movie he makes? This is one of the best. Edge of Tomorrow. Vastly underrated and everyone in it is top notch, the writing is great, the direction is excellent and even though it's a Sci Fi movie it's somehow believable. In the end, it's about courage, sacrifice, and perseverance. Great, great movie.
Underrated? That word needs to be banned from RUclips and every other social media platform. Its use is highly overrated.

I never really had much appreciation for Emily Blunts acting skills until i watched both "A Quiet Place" and shes arguably the best actress of her generation alongside Kirsten Dunst and Natalie Portman. The way she could express absolute agony and despair without saying anything was just masterful

They have amazing chemistry onscreen.
Normally it is difficult for me to watch violent movies, now or futuristic.
But then comes Blunt and she is so warm as a person, not in this role but in her interviews, that I actually saw this movie and liked it very much.

That wasn't a stunt double, she really learned how to do that. She was actually bummed out it wasn't given a bigger display because she put so much effort to get it right. She mentions it in a talk show.
