What i love about this show is scenes with Clark and Lois talking and suddenly his super hearing kicks in and she knows it right away asks him what's wrong and then bam hes either gone or Lois tells him go the chemistry between them is amazing
I can't speak for anyone else but Twice I've seen Clark use his X-Ray Vision the visuals of those Tumors just makes my skin crawl, makes me itch I hope I'm not the only one who feels like that
John Henry tried the “im coming to you as a man and a father” approach…didn’t work out too well for him. If Peia wasn’t dying she would have wrecked both of them😂
she wouldnt wreck both of them becuase superman always holds back just like when she was attacking him, he was waiting for her to stop but when the soldier shot jordan he pushed through her powers. in this fight he knew she wasnt going to last long so he waited.
I really didn’t expect to get THIS much plot development in this episode! Wow I really didn’t expect Nat to find out everything THIS early in the storyline. I also didnt expect the son to be clueless of his parents secret lives. When the son first made an appearance in the show, I for sure KNEW it had to be Bruno son. Then when he and Nat started getting close that completely sealed it off that it was Bruno son. Because there has to be some sort of conflict to happen in the future. BUT I thought the son was just trying to get close to spy for his dad. Him being completely innocent was definitely unexpected.
The start was horrifying but its kinda funny how the entire restaurant armed up. Were they just on standby in case Natalie turned out to be a golddigger?
Bruno giving up his wife was unexpected but at the same time you understand why he allowed her to be taken as well. Going to be VERY interesting to see what happens next. ESPECIALLY with the inclusion of Bizarro lol about to get Krazy with a “K”!
But then your looking at a Justice Lords type scenario. What makes Superman so great as a character is despite all that power, he holds back and believes the best in people. Only case he didn’t was against Doomsday. He just had to open up against that monster.
Was that I rodent I saw running across the alleyway (2:14)? Wonder if it was on purpose or if it's a local rodent just running to get out of the way of all the mayhem. 😄
I ,love this show, but it seems everyone has super powers. It is funny to me that they can grab people and fly away at 1000 miles an hour without them ever being pulverized by the intense super speed. A normal person would turn into meat dust if someone grabbed them at that speed and flew away like that.
The problem with these family-friendly shows is the nonsense that Superman/Steel shouldn't have used heat vision to melt their mass murdering feet to the asphalt and break a ton of bones in their fragile human bodies. Also, they're clearly so complacent as to not train with the DoD, because their SA and tactics are terrible.
Kinda lame that an elderly ordinary person with cancer has the power to kick the asses of both Steel and Superman. They both really got nerfed this season
Clark was holding back. He knew she wasnt going to last long and just waited out her attack. He didn't want to harm her. He always hold back. It was shown earlier in the show that he could easily beat her. He didn't hold back when Jordan was shot and no diffd her
So a few things here She knows she can't take superman on head on she's so far used ambush and misdirection to stack the odds in her favour. Its also been shown her endurance is not what it could be due to cancer and chemo so we don't know what kind of threat she'd be at her peak but I'd say definitely one that would really challenge superman He's superman obviously he'd win but it'd be a he'll of a fight. Here I think she laid it all out because her real target was steel who was already injured and had no idea what she could do. I don't think she intended to win. I wonder if perhaps she just have everything because she felt she had no other choice because her hand was forced. Sadly by Bruno. They also made it clear she can hurt Clark but he can outlast her and has the versatility to take her down when he steps it up so its interesting to watch their clashes compared to the rather repetitive fights against Kryptonians and whatnot
I mean she clearly can’t take Superman on, he was enduring it just fine. She’s clearly not strong enough, that’s why Bruno is reanimating bizzaro so he can probably take on Superman
I still don't understand why all they kept from the Onamatopoeia character from the Batman comics is the mask and the name. What was the point? The comic book character is a serial killer who preys on superheroes who don't have superpowers. He has no special powers himself. He isn't married to Bruno Mannheim. Honestly, he's not one of the great villains of all time (which I guess made him affordable for the show), but to take him from what he was to a black woman married to a gangster who has sonic powers, and tries to kill Superman--and doesn't turn random noises into words--???? This show has had its moments, I kept up with it pretty faithfully in season one. But they really dropped the ball with character development. I honestly care less and less about the characters, and it's not the actors' fault. Good cast. Bad writing.
This doesn't sound like bad writing more like they retooled a character that hasn't been used to often and did an original take that made a little more sense then the source.
@@kwayneboy1524 I watched a bit last night, and honestly, the writing was terrible. They put everything into the SFX, and by movie standards, those are laughable. Just a lot of forgettable dialogue between CGI isn't going to keep me watching. And what the fuck is up with their bearded Lex Luthor? He's a hipster who shaves his head when he's not in prison? Worst. Lex. EVER. It'll get canceled next year. They won't want it around to get in the way of Gunn's Superman. Which I'm actually looking forward to, but he better nail casting.
@@christopherlyons5900 what was wrong with the writing? And are honestly basing your dislike on this variation of Luther on his facial hair and not his character or personality? Personally too me it sounds like you just don't like it because it's not like the comics even though it doesn't need to be and had better stories because of it.
@@kwayneboy1524 I don't really see any character or personality. One of the most fascinating and layered DC villains, second only to The Joker--and he's just a standard-issue thug. I don't care that it's not just like the comics. I don't even read comics anymore (hardly anyone does). This is just flat-out BAD. They had some decent villains earlier in the show's run, and it's looking like this Luthor will be the weakest. I guess because he's stuck in the shadow of so many superior versions of the character. S&L has gotten lower ratings every season it's aired. Why do you think that is? Enjoy the fourth season. It will be the last.
@@christopherlyons5900 and why is Lex bad exactly it seems like alot of people like this version of him so far as they find him intimidating and what are you going off on that says he'll be the weakest it seems this ep set up good character motivation while flexing his power over people. And shows ratings deep that's true but many critics and people have praised it's success and characters.
Homegirl went from sympathetic to psychotic killer in an instant when the suit busted through the ceiling.

2:33 to 2:37 that “stop!” Was epic
So where Arrow failed in bringing Onomatopoeia to live-action Superman and Lois made up for it by making the charatcer a metahuman? That's brilliant!
John henry better than me I would have shown up in the steel armor and and start dropping bodies
Left n right 🤷😎
he has a daughter father instinct protection .
I can't speak for anyone else but Twice I've seen Clark use his X-Ray Vision the visuals of those Tumors just makes my skin crawl, makes me itch I hope I'm not the only one who feels like that
Btw I really like that sonic scream from peia, I like the demonic sound effect they go with.
This is a good fight scene from Dc TV show ❤❤
John Henry tried the “im coming to you as a man and a father” approach…didn’t work out too well for him.

😂😂😂 supes is always holding back... he could have made both of them splatter in a second if he wanted to
Such a demonic power she possess BTW Superman could of ended her with heat vision but with mortals he always holds back
Superman saves lives, thats right

Alternative title, 'Superman vs Karen!' 🤣🤣

Holy hell, what an episode!!
Bro I am waiting until Superman just gets really angry with those laser eyes and stops holding back and Bruno and everyone begging for mercy

Seeing them take off really fast, grab people and fly away makes me question if humans have super strong necks in the DC Universe 🤨
Comic book physics. Every time that happens, I mentally exclaim "Mush!"
That entire family is monstrous.
So no one noticed that’s Tobias church from arrow ? lol he should be dead
Was that I rodent I saw running across the alleyway (2:14)? Wonder if it was on purpose or if it's a local rodent just running to get out of the way of all the mayhem. 😄
sure does look like a rodent 😂
So close, man. So close! You had the best opportunity in the world, handed to you on a silver platter, and you didn't ask, "Was it a rat I saw?"
Bruno doesn't love her. He was just using her. He saw what her powers were doing to her and he just let her keep going.
I don’t believe that. In his own way he really loves her, or he wouldn’t be trying so hard to cure her from the cancer.
Man literally is conducting experiments to come up with a cure for her.
Dud built a whole damn hospital for her. What are you talking about.

True, but if you're gonna start pulling on the physics thread, the entire idea of superheroes unravels, lol.
I get it now. Peia is just another form of a destroyer goddess or chaos goddess. Like Kali or vishnu.
No, it's "Peia", short for Onomatopoeia.
"No, the hyper-advanced technology of a galaxy-spanning empire can't cure cancer in primitive barely-evolved apes. Yes, the audience will eat it."
1:39 como eu acho esse beep da super audição do superman ??? Achei bacana

Can’t he stop her with heat vision without killing her? Or is his control not good enough for that?
One serious question though. Wouldn't that type of sonic sound ability kill her tumors?
John Henry is DCU CHAMPION and cannot be pin🔨🤼♂️

I think it was overwhelming his hearing which makes sense plus it's no big deal
