During this quarantine we didn't want to go out to Home Depot, so we used leftover materials from building our fence & gate and made this AC unit surround. Easily removable and hides a giant eyesore 👌

This is a great idea, I hope everyone one builds one like that. Just wait for the heat 😂
Looks great! Love to see people use up scraps!
We had no other choice! Haha
You guys did a great job!!! Thank you for sharing this.
Looks Awesome!💚
I love your hammock set up!
Thanks a lot :) if we could only keep the birds from pooping on it 😂
I love it so much! Thank you for sharing the how to because I’m the kind of person who has to see everything! Thanks!
Hey so sorry for the delay! You’re welcome :)
Looks great
Thank you so much!
Backyard idea... ALL LAVA ROCKS
More cowbell 😂
Nice house guys. Turf grass is a big hit in Miami. Almost all the upscale houses are being built with artificial grass instead of real sod. Good luck!
Hey thanks! We've loved not having to cut it too haha
Looks good. As for the dirt, Pavers all day! Grass is nice, but the amount of water and maintenance it needs is kind of ridiculous if you think about it.
Yeah that was on our mind. We did a recent video with a few big pavers! It’s so nice since it’s zero maintenance like you were saying
2:58 The best thing I ever did after purchasing my air nailer and compressor, was to buy a small affordable gravity fed sprayer. Painting and staining stuff is so much easier and faster now, and no brush strokes. I only mention this, because I noticed that you used a nailer for the boards. 2:02
Thanks, we’ve looked into that but we read it used a lot more product to spray. Is that your experience?
Hi Did it reduce sound ?
I’m no expert but do you need to allow the unit to ventilate? It’s a beautiful fence.
Hi Carlos! Yes you are correct. The unit should have 12" or more distance from the surround on all sides to draw in air. It should also be open on the top and the fencing should have slats to allow air to pass through👍 thank you for your comment :)
so how do you keep it secure when a strong wind blows by?
With the Chicago gear on can I assume you're in Chicagoland. Just wondering how this will hold up to our 90° Summers and -10° Winters.
Hey no we're not in Chicago, but we are from Chicago lol. I would assume it's fine because they're fence boards. I know those winter's are brutal
Should do one for people who don’t have all the saws and tools. Lol 🤣 I want to cover my AC but half is on cement and the other ends on grass.
It took us a while to build up this collection lol, but we would love to try to make a "tool free" video!
Let’s Wing It I found a way. I just got some actual pallets instead of making my own, drilled a hole into the wood at the corners to connect them and used corner hinges. Added a sign in the middle and now I just have to decorate it. Wish I could upload a picture lol 😂
That sounds awesome! That's basically the exact same concept. You can always send us a photo on Instagram! We'd love to see it!

a great way to destroy your condenser early. read the manual. you're not supposed to build structures around it like this. needs way more airflow than this.
You couldn't be more wrong. Unit is fine and airflow is great. Thanks for your thoughts.
What is that blue clamp thing called that was used to drill slanted screw holes?
Hi Darla! That's a Kreg Jig. (It's probably our favorite tool)
Nice set up but what if you have to clean or maintenance the unit ? You're gonna have to take down one side or ask yao ming to come over and give yall a hand
Hi Jay! Haha thankfully we did think about that ahead of time. It's very light weight and easy moveable for cleaning and maintenance access :)
Ooo ok I was just curious but great job either way
Da bears
Ok.......how will you clean the A/C? Smh 🤦🏻♂️
Simple, by moving it :)
