I put nylock nuts on mine. I’ve never camped with my cot. I used it in my office when I worked till midnight and had to be back at 8am at a communications facility. I’m thinking of getting a tent for my cot because at 70 sleeping on the ground isn’t as fun as when I was young. We mainly do river rafting and fishing.

my Vista 1 tent also has a tie-down in the middle as well as the 4 corners. it is a pretty slick setup. if you get the Teton Sports XXL cot that goes with it, it has corner tiedowns as well, so it all stays together even in high wind

thats not the vista 1 tent......the vista 1 is their upgrade to the version you have.....the vista 1 has a mesh net at the top inside for putting things in where as yours just has the lil yellow tie things for adding a light......i know because i have the same one as you. I dont know if you are aware but they also make a rain fly that goes all the way to the ground. they also make pockets to go on the side of the cot and their xxl mattress is supposed to be incredibly comfy.

Yes, I have the rainfly that goes to the ground and the pocket organizer that connects to the side of the cot. I do not have the mattress, I made my own out of 4-inch foam, but I did here the mattress is very comfortable. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching

I'm 6"2 and just fit. I feel comfortable but it would be nice if it was bigger.

I love that knife, its so sharp and perfect for cooking. It is pink...lol I have several camping knives; I love that one for cooking
