Did you used to skate when you were a kid/teenager or is this something you just picked up on recently? I’m 37 years old I want to skate again but I’m afraid cuz of my dad bod and I don’t know if I can afford to take a fall lol
@@tarzan_7183 yup I skated from 13 to about 19, took 20 years off. It's been great though. At first I wore full pads and still do sometimes... you'll probably be able to find some like minded folks at the skatepark in the earlier hours... old dudes rip till about noon lol
@@Darkendesire biggest contact patch on a wheel I've ever seen! Probably 2 inches w zero taper and I'm surprised at how much I like them for certain things

@@marlon781130 so I've been back at it for about 1.5 yrs... im 41 but it was really slow at first... my body couldn't handle more than 20-30 minutes.... but I tried to at least ride every day, my ankles were shit.. I wore compression socks every session for 6 months, then I was strong enough to handle it... nice and slow, it'll come back and you'll love it again
@@marlon781130 man something else that's different now... I have patience... if I'm not landing a trick it just wasn't meant to be yet... how long you think you'll be out for w the sprain?... I've had a few rolled ankles and a chipped bone in my thumb, none of it really kept me out tho
