@@619able , you're right, it's not Metallica's fault after all. And please, let me correct myself: this IS a masterpiece anyway! And Bleeding me either 😁
Leandro Campilongo it wasn’t done for commercial interest, but unfortunately because back when the album first came out the CD’s couldn’t hold as much data as they can now. They planned on releasing the full song, however the CD was so full that the audio was likely to skip if they went ahead with it. So they shortened The Outlaw Torn to how it is on the album. Still even at this point, there was slightly more data on the CD’s that was recommended, but they went ahead anyways. You can tell the boys wanted to have the full song on there, it just wasn’t possible at the time.
One of my favorite Metallica songs, always play it a few times in a row, always think "man this song should never end".. but I don't like that version, feels fan made, like someone got a hold of the tracks and made this.
For some reason I always pictured Wherever I May Roam, Outlaw Torn and Fixxxer as a three part series
Lemy was a God!
Lol these three are my favs from their album
@
g.productions
No it doesn't, Dumbasses, cuz all three songs are about three completely different things, especially Fixxxer!
Inamorata would be the fourth part
This Is One of the BEST song, but I like Metallica's songs that i like more: For whom the bell tolls, for example.
One of the best songs made by Metallica. I really love this song. This last section of the track would play over and over in my head.
8:07 to 12:51. Thank you for this.
This version would’ve kicked ass with the symphony
They did it
@@MUSiC-world-20986 not the unencumbered one
Totally agree! I just can't get enough of this version! Combine San Francisco symphony and we'd have a masterpiece.
@@elymezadri6828 it really sucks that Metallica had to cut seconds off this song. But that’s just the technology back then. Sigh 😪

Perfect way to close an album. The structure in general feels like a journey.
I could listen to it the entire time. Music composition reached its epic point and it lives to eternity... I live the load and reload
4:39 one of the best vocals by James
I love when he says
If I close my mind in fear
Please pry it open
Cliff would have love this
It's about him
@@MUSiC-world-20986 it's about him?I had never heard of it.
Seriously one of the best songs Hetfield has ever written
The way he shouts "stitch me together"...I FELT that
i could legit listen to that ending all fucking year! in fact the rest of my damn life!
A whole lifetime
As a young kid I was introduced to Metallica music it hit my ears so hard, I'm still listening to Metallica!!! Die hard fan Kronos
Okay I found a 10 minute version thinking it was the complete complete version but I just found this version and holy shit am so thankful
The 10 minute version with no fade IS the complete version.
Rochie Roche this is just an extended version on top of that
@@Finn_the_Cat this was the Original version that had to be cut down to actually fit on the phyiscal media because it was too long
OMFG THAT ENDING IS COMPOSSED SO SMOOTH AND GOOD.........GOD!!!!!
How it was ment to be 🙌🏻
Although repetitive, the final is awesome. I wish they does a final like this one in live concert.
First album I jumped into from tallica fuck the criticism one of their finest bay in the day
Same here.
Great album
And if I close my mind in fear please pry it open. Heavy
I've been waiting for this a looooooooooong looong time💪😎
Axel Vespo like your whole lifetime?
You just made it a better song, trading seconds for commercial interests sucks, it was my favorite already, cant thank you enough.

Leandro Campilongo CDs back then had a limited run time of 80 minutes. You sacrifice a playable and clear disc if you go over
There already is an Unencumbered by Manufacturing Restrictions version. It's on the b side of the Memory Remains UK single, iirc
really
Dude this is fucking awesome I LOVE THIS
outlaw torn and still i wait my whole life time
Impresionante tema...
Added to playlist ty PBL
At the very end you can barely hear the intro of Fixxxer 😳
Imguhate 73 um you can?
Amazing job

I think this sounds so heavy

Holy shit
Only 4 haters. - (c'mon haters - there's still time to rally.) ))
You ruined it by repeating the finale over and over. You added an extra 2 minutes for what?
sing of sourthen croos of sabbath era DIO
See how I turned out don't ya kiddos.oh like it and love it and miss it when its gone dont ya 😊
You didnt made nothing. That is the way it apears in a single somewhere
I've got the CD single somewhere, UK release. It was longer than the album version, didn't fade out st the end but is shorter than this version .
bene this is longer than the original version and disk version.
Yep. On the b side of The Memory Remains UK single....

one of their last great albums
death magnetic was great!
Hardwired is great
You have a confederate flag as your pfp. Your opinion is moot. All of their albums are great INCLUDING St. Anger.
Death Magnetic is better than MoP for me
"One of". Let's f'in face it - up until St Angers they were all great for one thing or another.
