After watching over 100 vids now one thing is clear. Terry has given more than blood sweat and tears over the time and it's nice to see you look after your staff.
@@dg2908 cmon David are you jealous coz your driving around your old 1989 Nissan micra with holes in the seats passed down through generations of pikeys don’t be a negative
Love the Daniel and Terry combo, the two of you should do a project together outside of work. Let's start with a car race between the Defender Vs the Amarok.
Watched the first one with the idea that it was a look into, look at all the stuff I've got; I soon realised this is a very hard-working young man and deserves every penny; you are a credit to your family and yourself pal, shame about the QPR thing, we cannot be perfect
Hahahaha when you were standing back to back on the previous episode I knew it was an Amarok. Thank you for giving Terry a beast that is good for off road, luxury and business.... and reliable also
Best pick up on the market, drove them all and bought the V6 Amarok myself. Would recommend getting it remapped, make’s a massive on fuel economy and of course amber strobes! 👌👌 best of luck with it and well deserved!
Getting it up to 39mpg on a long run, was struggling to get 32/33 before. That’s on a 224bhp. Friend had the 250bhp and he was getting 3 mpg more than me so that’s why I got it mapped! And obviously it’s nice to have the extra power! 😬😬
I know it's a subject from your last video. But if your are needing to get your knees fixed and you've got the cash. Switzerland is the place seemly. Great video, your just the very definition of determination and drive. Still think you should an old 240 volvo estate automatic for running about. The defenders nice, but u just look a bit cramped in it. Take care in San Francisco it seems to be going through some changes! Best of luck.
How has this channel not exploded yet - the way I see it, it's only a matter of time. Spent a great many good hours watching this "show" - interesting, entertaining and well done! Thank you!
I had the privilege of seeing one of ya tippers as14 muc ..... We'll drity and un washed on a Monday morning lol and then I see a o'donavon skip lorry in ya manner at hanging Lane . Love the channel
niiiiice. i thought for a second it was going to be a mercedes pick up (which is just a nissan navara re-badged) and was going to give you stick for it. lol, but that i.m.o is a great choice, well done tezza
Can see it now sundays episode " episode 108 - senior staff , senior problems , senior driving.... oh and terry scratched the new vehicle" but bravo terry well deserved 👏👍
Daniel I saw you in Park Royal today Victoria road and you blew past me. I’m sure you done a cheeky cut in to get on the a40 toward Shepherd’s Bush tut tut
Daniel really needs to learn what kind of infrastructure he would need for an electric car. Hint: Even if you plug it into a standard wall socket, you can recharge about 100 miles per day. (Assuming 8 hours of work + 1 hour of breaks, leaving 15 hours to charge between "employee leaving in the evening" and "employee arriving the next morning".) 3 to 9 times as much if you put in a simple 600-pound wall box, depending on the car and what the electrical installation can provide. There's 3-phase power available at the site, and it's underutilised during the night, so it'd only depend on the car's internal charger. Only talking cars here, not lorries and not fleets of cars. Although, considering they can run the compressor and bagging area at the same time, I'd say there's enough power to charge all company cars and vans at night.
Love the way you’re thinking it’s very professional although I’d like to mention and ask one thing why don’t you tarmac the yard? I see you’ve got heavy equipment but a nice thick layer would last some time if it’s done properly.
Nice to see the whole work vehicle for staff explained... although exact rules & regs differ from every country/insurance policy, generally speaking it's all very similar. Here in NZ for example it can be cheaper to lease over owner if your employees have to take their vehicle home to be on call, then they just have to sign a declaration for when they were actually working, or unable to use their company vehicle for private use as it can be claimed back.
In Canada take the truck home use it. Trucks come with salaries. So they are not worth it alot of time. It's more effective bonas to your lead guys. Safe these guys a few quid. Recipical relationship. Think I would have said let me keep van and use it more so I can sell my car. In years to come they will encourage owners to get management private cars off the roads.
Very nice ! Great reg plate! Just curious, I know you want to it classy, but will you bring doing any mods to the pick up , along the lines of work lights and flashing lights ?
Asheville you should make a separate channels just for construction house project and show what happens day to day like you do in Asheville weekly like day one digging and show the problems u face etc
Well done tezza, I am a little disappointed though - as dan was going through the requirements - I thought Suzuki jimney - would have loved to see terrys face if that came around the corner.
Great truck, can't get them new now or the Mercedes, next Amarok is a badged up Ranger. Marc ditched the truck which was a badged up Nissan due to poor sales.
Im working 17 years at the same quarry, i driving diggers, showels, operating mobile crushers, screeners, bulldozer,i do the regular maintenance, and the most of the repair on them, and i haven't got even an canteen, or toilet on site, not an amarock... Any job by Ashville?
After watching over 100 vids now one thing is clear. Terry has given more than blood sweat and tears over the time and it's nice to see you look after your staff.
Safe to say tezza is a ledge
Although a 3½ year old whip with more than 50k on it, that he can't take home is hardly a gift to Terry!
Though to clarify my earlier comment, I do think this represents a reasonable and well considered business purchase for Ashville
@@dg2908 cmon David are you jealous coz your driving around your old 1989 Nissan micra with holes in the seats passed down through generations of pikeys don’t be a negative
also he can't drive or home! LOL
Michael o donavon would of bought tezza a lambo
He would pretend to get him a a Guinness then stumble, fall over, vomit and try stumbling again

Couldn't be happier for old Tezza, just so you know we all rate your work ethic even when you had your knee op still going into work!
Literally think Daniel is the only person I’ve ever seen who makes a defender look tiny when he’s stood next to it 😂😂💪🏼
Daniel a Spartan that's why
because it's a three door
Daniel Louisy “challenger 2” Ashville
defenders are tiny
He makes the tipper look normal😁
Well done Dan. Terry deserves this he is a major player in Asheville group 👍.
Well deserved Terry! It's good to see there's people out there that taking good care of their personnel.
Terry is a top bloke, can tell he doesn't care for the limelight but definitely deserves it, legend.
Terry got to do a lot of overtime now 😂
Hahaha 😂
Lovely to see you looking after your staff, I’ve said it before but it’s good to see a gaffer looking after them! Well done Daniel, keep it up❤
Absolute fantastic choice Daniel!!
Am sure it will live up to its expectations!!!
Terry's smile -awsome !!!
Going to need orange beacons etc for sites and maybe a safe box in the load area....Great choice and richly deserved for Tezza.
YOU ARE OUTSTANDING..... Daniel well done for looking after Terry......... Terry your a star.
I’m getting a brand new Hybrid A3 from my employers next week, very excited and not too bad for a 21 year old
Genuinely find the thought process and reasoning behind the decisions so insightful and helpful. Helps that it's all about trucks and plant too 🤣
Terry will definitely take it for fishing this weekend when Daniel goes to America!😊
Shhhh🤫
Not allowed if it’s a pool car. He wouldn’t be insured for personal use.

Nice to see a boss look after a loyal work colleague, instead of treating them like shit like alot of employees. Good on you Daniel 👏

My first company car my MD arranged for it to be delivered to my home , very nice touch. Very pleased for all involved 👍
Well deserved. Next stop Urban Automotive!! Need them flashing lights all around!
Great info at the end! About the company car

What sort of MPG did you get after the re-map?
Getting it up to 39mpg on a long run, was struggling to get 32/33 before. That’s on a 224bhp. Friend had the 250bhp and he was getting 3 mpg more than me so that’s why I got it mapped! And obviously it’s nice to have the extra power! 😬😬

First thing Terry was thinking when he saw that was ‘will my fishing rods fit?’.
Welcome to the Amarok family Tezza 😁😁And in the company I work for everyone who can carry a clipboard has a company car its friggin ridiculous.
Congrats Tezzaaaa. It’s about time you get rewarded for taking one for the team, Getting arrested when the protesters showed up. Congrats again

I have nothing to do with construction work or anything thats being done in these videos but theyre just so entertaining
Love how you go into detail about if you leased it or bought it out right or financed if etc. another great video mate.
AS A OWNER MYSELF
RESPECT TO YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF YOUR GUYS
welll doneeee boys, totally looking forward to that next video on renting leasing and financing...
DOPE DOPE DOPE selection. He'll love it.
Good choice that V6 is a cracking lump and dsg, Terry knows dubway is the right way. Now get it to Darkside 😎🤘🏻
really interesting to hear that the finance option you've went with is cheaper than leasing and you own it!!!
You went with the V6, great choice!
You are a Great leader, not a Boss ! 🤗
One day, I will visit you from Sweden
Very nice. I’m driving a ranger as company vehicle, it’s getting a bit tired now on 17 plate, so an Amarok may be the next move…
Just noticed your sub numbers. An amazing achievement for a minority genre. Well done and good luck to Del C
Nice to see a company looking after and appreciating it's workers, 👋👋👌👌🇨🇮
Good Job Daniel and Terry. New vehicle! New Million Dollar deals on the way 🎉

Really proud ✌
Yooo that edit at the start is sick
Wow nice one for Terry👌🏾
Best pickups on the market mate.. what a legend of a boss 🤝🏽
Loved my v6 amarok, stage 1 remap took it to 320bhp. Let down for me was the 3 ton towing capacity. Now I’m back to a Ranger Wildtrak.
3 Ton is a lot of weight
@@Gaffersly You’d be surprised at how easily you reach 3t, extra 500kg goes a long way

Operational lease includes maintenance and tires, which are not represented in the financial lease’s monthly payment.
