I would use David Blaine “under the watch” or Blake Vogt envelock. Or Daniel Garcia mint box

I legitement wear a cap with a folded card sticked on top of the inside (doesnt matter which card). This is my finally of the ambitios card, I palm the mercury fold and take my cap of to show them the folded card jumped from the Deck inside of my cap. Then I turn the cap arround and act like I caught the card out of it and put it back on with the folded sticked card in still inside (obviously you don't want to flash the cared still sticked inside). Then try to milk the reveal of thier card with thier signature. This works really well with a shoe aswell.
Under the watch is my favorite. Hand them the deck and say “now, watch!”

Hey Alex, thanks for the video, very well explained as always, and to answer your question maybe whilst they were looking for their card I would try standing next to them to 'help them look' as misdirection and slip it into their pocket that would be cool I think...

@@kendarr Not as in your country but there was the beginning of modern magic after the show of the dynamo and youtuber like alex , chris ramsay , shin lim, etc etc... and you can say that in india magic is given importance now (i am also an indian and a intermediate magician too doing some dynamo and david blaine tricks )

Hi Alex, Your execution is fine! People obsess about the card being folded perfectly but trust me this doesn’t matter as much as the effect. I also do this slow, I have been using this fold for 25 years, I do like using it with a Paperclip (Jay Sankey), I also like using an Altoids Tin (Toi box) Jonathon Kamm, however 99% of the time I simply use it as card to wallet or card to spectators wallet.

I paid Penquin $20 for this secret. And your just giving it away for free. Yours is a better tutorial by the way. I have love and hate for RUclips and its accelerated destruction of magical secrets. Especially after spending nearly $10,000 on Magic books over the years.
I like to make it appear in a Kennedy box or in my shoe. I’m sure you all know a few shoe ideas, in case you don’t, here’s an easy one very quickly; Pre fold any card of the same back and use double stick tape to put it inside your shoe, then put that shoe on. Execute the Mercury fold during an off beat, natural transition where you have justification for moving the deck just a few inches back, or do the squaring action Alex just taught - both hide it well. Finger palm the card you just folded, take off your shoe, and mime the action of dumping it out of the shoe onto your hand. Once they see it in your hand you can put your shoe back on and tie the laces if you untied them - it’s a nice convincer as long as you’re comfortable with your finger palm. If you believe your hands are empty and practice with and without it palmed, your audience won’t question it bc they still don’t know where the trick going - but they obviously anticipate the impossible. You’re just untying a shoe. All attention is on the card once they see the one you just MCF’d so milk (just cover the folded card with the hole in the shoe, and reveal it) it. It’s obviously better if they sign the card, and is a great end to an ACR. Drop the deck or have some excuse why it would have stopped just appearing back on top of you end an ACR with it. It’s great if you’re going table to table, bc the trick is permanently reset. Thanks as always Alex and if not everyone knew that method, if you read all of this, I hope you try it and enjoy it. I tried to make the explanation as bare bones as possible, bc as simple as it is, it gets killer reactions. ✌🏻 ♠️❤️♦️

If you are in a street situation, or standing with a group, you could,I suppose, pass the folded card to an assistant who could move it to anywhere . Now if you are surrounded the dirty angles could be covered by your assistant, maybe next to you on your immediate left(covering the risky angles, and ready to move off as you complete the routine, free then to reveal the card as being somewhere fifteen feet away.)
Although it's not a sleight i perform very much it's great to have a tutorial on correctly executing. I think the Card to Box would be the best to use this for because it's the most bold move and would get the best reactions IMO and that would be my aim if going to ruin a card-deck 👐♣️♥️♠️♦️

I work at a restaurant with a bar and for a long time I’ve had an idea to take a duplicate card, fold it, and plant it inside one of the lemons or limes or oranges at the bar. Then I force the duplicate, control it so I can use this fold, and put it in my pocket. Phase one would be to reveal that it teleports to my pocket, but phase 2 is to vanish the folded card and then have a coworker toss me a fruit to cut open and reveal the spectators card

It seems like the start of the fold is impossible to hide.
T-I Leikas move your hands around in a natural manor like hand gestures. Or even make the spectators do something or look you in the eye when talking. You can even kneel down if you’re standing and they’re seated and cover it with that bigger motion

My version of making the start of bending invisible is, that i do begin while putting the hole deck in the ground. In the was down the card ist completely folded and palmed out of the rest of the deck.
And because the deck lays down on the ground, the spectator's attention is perfect misdireceted.
You can put the folded card wherever you want, while the spectator locks down to the deck.
Sorry for the mistakes in my text. This is the german auto-correction on my smartphone.
I once did a Mercury Fold with dollar bills and every time I counted it off there were bills missing. Man! My baby mama was getting PISSED.
