Here are links to some of the tools I used in the video. BTW, if you click on the link then buy something else, it still helps the channel. And there's no extra cost to you.
    Cleco fastener kit: amzn.to/3gYu9Bb
    Rivet gun: amzn.to/3Dn8bit
Also, the HVAC delete panel that I used was from Bimmerworld. Their products are usually pretty good. But this one didn't impress me. Hard Motorsport sells a nicer delete panel, but it's more expensive.

What about the hole left engine side? The cabin filter parts weigh more than another blank off plate surely? I'm not sure what to do on mine 😫

I wasn't able to find a delete panel for that one. I guess nobody makes it. So I had to reinstall the cabin filter assembly.

Nice video! Would be interested to see a video on how you removed the excess wiring. Did you de pin or snip? Great work, looking forward to doing mine now!

I did a little of both. For wires that I plan to reuse, I pulled them out of the harness and secured them out of the way. Power wires were tagged with the fuse number, then the fuse was pulled for safety. For power or data wires I don't plan to reuse, they were depinned. And ground wires I don't plan to reuse were snipped. The process was VERY tedious. I didn't film it, because it would be boring to watch.

Quick question, would this apply to an 03 m56 e46?

I'm not very familiar with the M56. Is the HVAC system different?

I'm not entirely sure that's why I asked because I have a leak from. The hood leaking down from the cabin filter housing into the case assembly
