- The Indiana Medical Licensing Board met Thursday to hear the case regarding an Indianapolis doctor who provided an abortion to a 10-year-old victim from Ohio in 2022.
There is no way a 10 year old girl should have to go through a pregnancy.
At that age it could be detrimental to her health, both physically and mentally! She did the right thing, protect the child!

I hope she doesn't loose her license. She did nothing wrong. The State of Ohio and Indiana should be ashamed of themselves, for making this doctor a political stunt. This case wasn't about this doctor giving out information about the victim and the victim's parents without permission. This case was about the procedure was done in the state of Indiana and it have gotten National and worldwide social media news attention. Todd Rokita who is a Republican made this a personal crucifying Vendetta against the doctor the victim and the victim's parents !! And by him being a Republican who supports abortion should be totally with no exceptions outlaw not only in the state of Indiana all the rest of the states in America ! This isnt actually part of the hippocratic oath lol. Also, we do harm all the time, you just have a greater benefit-to-harm ratio. What you're referring to is called non-malfeasance but autonomy and beneficence supersede it in medical ethics.

Dr.s don't care. I went into emergency room with chest pain. The Dr came out & told me to put beer on my chest and drink the other beer's. I wrote a letter & told administration. Nothing has happened, I now have a 900. Bill , omg.. drink beer, and my 2 daughters were with me.
I am pro life on most aspects but i am with the doctor on this one.....i dont think 10 year old will be able to handle a baby coming out of her itll be more traumatizing for her esp. at a young age hope it was removed as early as possible........its what you call controversial 2 sides 1 coin ..... i am not siding on pro life on this one particular case.....coz i knew a case where a 11 year old girl in puerto rico a country that didnt support abortion so the 11 year old was forced to conceive the baby all on her own......didnt end up well both ended up dying......if you wish to choose sides whether pro life or pro choice at least have common sense.....idk why this pro life are protesting.....seems they care more about their agenda than the little girl itself......

So, she is in the wrong with regards to speaking with the media about the patients age, medical diagnosis, and generally where she lives. That is pretty unequivocal. Even if specific name and birthdate and other specific demographics are not given, it is easily inferred by the patients community who the patient likely is, and now they all know she had an abortion and was potentially raped.
With that said, it does seem that this has become a political stunt and which hunt, but....apparently set off by her going to a rally/forum and bringing this patient up to begin with.
Hope she gets a slap on the wrist and then can get back to doing her job.
Edit: With regards to reporting, I believe state to state it is different, but generally it is appropriate to either report child abuse to law enforcement OR to child protective services, or the states equivalent to child protective services.

Where, I ask, is the evidence (beyond that asserted by religious authorities) that abortion is identical to murder, even in its very early stages? There is clearly a developmental continuum in a fetus, with an abrupt break when the baby is born, and so drawing a line for when a fetus becomes equivalent to a person with rights, including freedom from “murder”, is purely arbitrary. And there’s no evidence it has a soul or anything differentiating it from the embryos of any number of vertebrate species
