Thank you! We just used your video to replace our front door sweep. Your video could not have been informative. We will be replacing our interior door to the garage next. And yes taking off the door was the hardest part. We noticed on the original sweep they used staples on the end and in the middle. Do you feel we need that to keep it in place?
That’s a great question, you have to look at the door and look at the type of sweep and try to match it up best way you can. there are a lot of different types of door sweeps out there. But most of them have the same principal their easy to remove and replace.
Thank you for the video. In my case i didnt have to take the door out. Once I open the door completely, there is sufficient gap between the door and the wooden floor. i could pull out the existing bottom seal and with some effort, could push he new one in.
I recently put a door sweep under the door and it was too short because there is a huge gap from the door to the ground. How should I fix that? I tried to buy two bath with self-adhesive tape, stuck them together and it didn’t work and they fell apart.
Mine rips...I have screwed the threshold down all the way put it pinches on the side, I wish someone would post a fix. I can tell it is going to happen again with the new one.

Very good video. I didn’t have to remove the door. Open the door wide enough to completely clear the threshold. You gave me courage!
I’m so glad it worked out for you. This is why I do these videos.
Thanks for keeping it short and sweet! Much appreciated…
Perfect perfect perfect and easy to set up!👍🏾
I did it, thanks! Using a drill bit to get that bottom pin out worked like a charm.

Thanks for making it look so easy! But… it seems like there are different types of door sweeps/seals..? How do I know which type my door uses?

I had one installed by a handyman today (as a 65yo woman I can't lift the door very well) Anyway it is dragging badly. How can that be adjusted?
It just takes time to brake in.

I have an 8’ metal door with spring hinges... I can’t do this and I am so bummed...is there anyway to do this without removing the door?
Yes I just did without removing the door. There is absolutely no need to remove the door if using this door sweep
I recently put a door sweep under the door and it was too short because there is a huge gap from the door to the ground. How should I fix that? I tried to buy two bath with self-adhesive tape, stuck them together and it didn’t work and they fell apart.
You might need to get an adjustable sweep. Can you attach the door then move down to hit the floor. Most home-improvement stores have these
My door doesn’t have the grooves. Do you have a video on how I can replace the sweep?
I do not as of right now, I will try to work on it this winter.

So u must take the door off?
Most of the time you do. If you have enough clearance you could pry the old one out and slide the new one in. Hope this helps
Is there way I can do it without removing whole door
Yes Watch this video ruclips.net/video/GQgkud69I_0/видео.html
There is absolutely no need to remove the door. Thing just snaps into place
I know, I made a new video that shows how to do it. Thank you for your comment.
