As good as the final result was, this thing was obviously roughed up and grubbied, beforehand. That's unnecessary. Also, a little continuity error; prebath- crooked wheel, postbath- wheel was straightened... If you want to do a modification, just do the modification. No need to scratch off paint and throw mud first.
Yep I noticed the wheel too, takes so much away from it when your intelligence is being insulted, just show it as was, it'll be a sufficient transformation without the fake crap on top
I have one similar to this...a pull N go...red and white Cadillac. It’s about 20 years old or so. I need to seek it in my basement and check it out again. Cool job. 😎
i know it looks better when you have a dirty car and make a beauty out of it, but honestly you can just modify and customize a car without damaging it first. The result is beautiful anyway =)
If you are going to mod or repaint a model for a video please say so in the description, instead of piling dirt on it, scratching it up and calling it a restoration.
Absolutely beautiful restoration! Looking at the final product, there is no way you could have imagines it was in as bad of condition as it started out to be. I true collector’s item now.
El Cadillac Eldorado es un coche viejisimo, creo que es de la hepoca del Padrino, pero tengo entendido por lo que he podido leer, fue muy buen coche y muy elegante.
You made that car more detailed to where you can see the interior and exterior, wheels are impressive, what a tremendous turn around from the original paint job to a custom more detailed all around diecast..spot finish, clean restoration, precision masking and paint. Amazing job, very impressive! I need to step up to that kind of detailed job.
..were new replacement tail lights available? or did you craft them yourself? Or did you go back to the original hole and excavate these? What a model crafter you are!
For a toy car with so much damage to the paint work why is the bottom of the car so clean with no scuff marks. You would think if it was played with that much you would see some sort of marks ???????
Actually, the finished product looks quite nice. Your work seems to be improving. If you are doing this to get American viewers, we realize you probably don't have access to the old steel Tonka and Ertl toys, etc., and that's fine. But you will impress us a lot more if you just start with what you have, as it is, and really spend your time concentrating on making it nice rather than covering the car with mud and pulling a wheel off trying to make it look far worse than it really is. We can tell when you do that and I know it turns me off, as I suspect it does others. We just don't like it when we see that things are being faked. Just be genuine and work on turning what you've got into something beautiful. The Cadillac looks nice even if it isn't 50 or 70 years old. The more your craftsmanship improves, the more subscribers you will get and you won't need to fake things. You don't fool people anyway.
When you put the dirt on the car, you should also put some inside in all the nooks and crannies. More realistic.
Not one clip broken or part missing, unusual that they were available for such an "old, dirty car" that had obviously (NOT) been in the mud for years.
Campeão. Está foi a melhor restauração que já vi. Sensacional.
Just another staged "old restoration" .
Agreed, dirty on the outside...clean as a whistle when disassembled gave it away at the start.
Lol!
When its faker than the Kardashians
It seems that its not really an old toy car...
Ok muy buen trabajo felicidades
"I do not believe!" (Stanislavsky)
Stunning color combinations. The pewter and red really pops. If only Cadillac had such beautiful metallics bitd.
Amazing how just washing it off can make the front passenger wheel straighten out. I will try that on my next bent wheel.
Hear, hear... and the motor’s colors returned with just soap.. hmmm
:)))

Amazing how the missing headlight miraculously reappeared! A faker who keeps forgetting what he's faked.

Absolutely beautiful restoration! Looking at the final product, there is no way you could have imagines it was in as bad of condition as it started out to be. I true collector’s item now.
I find many of the comments below to be rude. I quite enjoyed the video.

Calling bullshit on this one.

Superb restoration. Great stuff. Well done.
👍🏿
Now that’s what I call a MIRACLE!
Nice, but is the dirt real, or did you add it?
..were new replacement tail lights available? or did you craft them yourself? Or did you go back to the original hole and excavate these? What a model crafter you are!
WHAT KIND OF CROME PAINT DO YOU US TO GET CROM IN SOME PARTS?
I enjoyed the before and after. You have a feeling for this.
Also your dexterity and manipulation of the parts.
Awesome job MrRestorer. Love the colors you chose for the big Caddy. Now if I just had a real one in my driveway. Thanks for the vid
Such a relaxing video...and WOW, what a beautiful restoration...like it came off the showroom floor of a Caddy dealership! : )
A job very well done, my compliments MrRestorer
The only thing I would change is the body color to white.
Beautifully done . Do plan on keeping it or selling it?
The music is interesting - why no listing of what it is?
Viendo raro no

Oof
We have the real version of it
You did an ok job of making it look old to start with, but so fake.
whats the song in the beginning called ?
Not a restore but a repaint, and wash the put on mud.
rest of it was amazing! you don't need to add dramatic effect
Nice job. As a model maker I can appreciate the time you took to make sure the details were done right.
i wonder how long it took to do the whole make over? you know they dont show you everything
I thought this was a real car
Que año es ese modelo 55 si mal no recuerdo
Truly magnificent restoration. This must be your pride and joy restoration. Well done!

Crappy background noise !
