- First experiences being released from prison after 19 years of a 32 year sentence. It's still hard to believe that I was in prison with 10 years left and within an hour and a half's notice I was suddenly free and in the world, experiencing things I never could have imagined.

My son has been in prison his whole adult life. I hope his attitude is as good as yours when he gets out. Stay positive and forgiving and you will go far.

Its your insight, understanding, humility, willingness to see all sides from Co's, incarcerated people, the victims.... your grace and insight seeing all the nuances. Your Soul.
The level of trauma you have experienced before, during, after and your humanity and understanding of humanity. Priceless insight.

People who are incracerated should be given opportunities to rehabilitate. Often these prisons are privately owned, and their motive is 95% occupancy with no plan to help inmates for obvious reasons.

Paying taxes is much easier online, I know it’s probably still complicated for you even now, but there are online sites that will charge under $40 if you have all your information and are willing to enter it manually.
My son has been bugging me to try and find him a pen pal. Easier said than done.
