How to play altissimo G on alto saxophone

A number of my pupils have been asking how to play a high (or altissimo) G on alto sax, so I thought I would make a short video explaining how. It's not the only way, it's certainly not always the quickest way in terms of using it in quick passages, but it is very reliable, in tune and the easiest G altissimo to produce if you haven't played much altissimo before. It is similar in feeling to playing a high F# on the palm keys, so if you can do that then you probably do this. If you don't have a high F# key then obviously this won't be possible, but there are many other ways to produce the note. Hope this helps people anyway, do look at my website if you want to:
