"We Bostonians" - - - as in Earl Bostic as he went "Up In Orbit" on alto saxophone in the late 1940s early '50s Adore your instruction and patience. Thanks, sir. Lohvissimo!
No side extra keys for me I play a Selmer MkVI old school horn but the 1,3,4,6 and side bflat sound great and easy on my alto Thanks. I mostly play tenor and only use the key above ( front high F) the first B key so it's easier on tenor!
Thanks for this video! I've been really struggling with altissimo G - everything else up to high D# fine but not this note, just wouldn't work except for fingerings which were way too difficult to transition through. Your 'crunch' set works great and I find it easy to move up and down through, very excited now to try and get the intonation on my altissimo as good as yours.
@@ConcertSaxophoneAccompaniments funny story, I got a z because I thought it would be the closest thing to a VI. I thought I was the next coming of Mule or something...lol. I wonder how close those horns are in actuality. Certainly the modern super action 80s aren't like Mark VIs

"C5" and "TA", where do those designations come from? I have never heard of them before. 🤔
I don’t use the high f sharp key on my saxophone. My teacher said the high f sharp key is not recommended.
We Americans, we love it! 😂

Where is your mute?!?
in the trash...nah, seriously though I don't need a mute on this custom z. The B-flat are weirdly in-tune.
@@seanhurlburtmusic3061 I feel defeated . . . :-0. J/K - good to know. My Mark 6 is surprisingly close on the low Bb too.

@@seanhurlburtmusic3061 I figured that, as I just listened to your interview with Gail today while driving up to North Fla.:-)
@@ConcertSaxophoneAccompaniments sweet, glad someone checked that interview out. It was secretly one of my favs. Gail's cool.
