Wow! You're a total pro with that drone (panning in and out) and putting those videos together. I can't imagine how much time is involved in editing all the footage and combining it into such a professionally condensed video suitable for advertising the resort on prime time TV. Need to come out of retirement and start your own camera work business.

Another great video Chris. Lot of fun but very informative. I’ve never visited Ko Samui on my visits to Thailand but will definitely do so when the borders open up again. Another great video! Great shots with your drone! I am moving to BKK in January and I also want to bring my drone. Maybe you could do a video about registering a drone in Thailand? I heard that can be quite a hassle.

I applied for an stv from the uk earlier this week and was told although they can take my application fee now, they won’t process it until we become a low risk country again 🥵
King s, the STV is a almost a scam , yes they will take your money now, but as you have found out unless you are from a safe country (ie China, ) it won’t be granted, money lost , normal tourism will not operate again until late 2021, save ya money and just enjoy vlogs of the lucky buggers like RW4U .... right Chris 😉😉

@@boeasy3015 true, but i hope it is not late 2021. and my friend in hong kong said he got his STV approved.....so hopefully it keeps expanding slowly but surely.
@@boeasy3015 yes absolutely agree. It’s only £250 but yeah like flushing it down the toilet right now as our infection rates aren’t going down anytime within the next 6 months ☹️

That looks like a dream right now compare to where we are. We are thinking of any which way we can to get out of the UK right now, Winter is definitely coming in more ways than one. Since Thailand isn't excepting travellers from the UK, do you have any other suggestions as to how to get there? Maybe going to another country first and then travelling in? I'm really grasping at straws tbh...
You can get to the Canaries now without quarantine on return so maybe thats your luck for the year and maybe you can find a Thai restaurant to sit in and pretend that you are in Koh Samui.
i don't know....it's all so cloudy these days. feels like the waiting game must continue.

Amazing. I wish my 7am call time was there and not a studio here. hahaha It sure is the time to travel domestically. Those prices are incredible. All the times I've been to Thailand, have never made it to Koh Samui. I just have to get through my first winter in years. Ugh...I can hear the cold wind blowing already. ;)
