I use to play RB with my girlfriend back in 2008 and we bougth a lot of songs..one of our goal was to play that songs in our future home. Our home is coming in a month but dlc are no long playable due to disconnected servers..but thanks to you man we'll be able to play it once again. You con't even immagine how your video helped us, thanks man!

just to confirm, is there any risk of getting a console ban from doing this trick? i assume there probably would be but the chances have to be super low though considering 360's aren't being maintained anymore right?
The songs don't work on Rock Band 1 cause that game doesn't support the .con format that customs come in. To do customs on Rock Band 1 you would need an RGH console.
Hi! thanks for the great video. unfortunately I wasn't able to get it working - reason being that my xbox isn't updated to the firmware that would allow me to format the USB drive. Ic annot update it as it is a modded xbox and I'm not sure if it'd keep working if I did. So I am having trouble getting the DLC files onto the xbox. Do you know where I could get help with this? Any discord groups?
how come the rock band 3 dlc songs (in the third link) on the slides doesn’t load into the rb2 game and show up under songs? Do i need to use onyx or just nautilus.
@@jetscorner ok got the error too. The fix to this is. On onyx go to batch recompile, on the bar with “file, edit, help, view”. Click edit, preferences, rock band, and put magma optional. Should be able to convert those songs to rb2 files. Got the songs working on my Xbox 👍🏻
@Nickyhi10 hey, so it's been a couple weeks, now my game refuses to open. Am I gonna have to delete every song I've ever downloaded? Cause it's starting to feel like that
@@Zhury-y2e as of now no windows only. But you can still add songs to your usb without it. You had to have format the usb with your Xbox 360 before doing this. You download the songs/ exports you want and then open your file explorer on Mac. Then plug in your usb drive that was formatted with your 360. You should see a folder called content or (allow it to see hidden folder if you cannot see this folder). Then open content > the folder with a bunch of 0s > a folder with “45410829” > then the folder with a 1. You can then drop all the files you want and it should be recognize in you Xbox 360 file and rock band
@@bbaker2165 not that I saw. Looks to be only Xbox 360 for now. I’m sure for ps2,3,4 a modded console is need to play dlc/exports for rock band and guitar hero
@@Nickyhi10here’s how I got rock band 1 export working in rock band 2 1. Download rock band song exporter license 2. Convert it to con using CON/RBA converter of nautilus 3. Make sure both license and export files are in 45410829/00000001 of usb drive

Yes you need onyx too. Just follow the steps on 16:05 in th e video and use the already downloaded rb3 dlc songs or files that have “rb3 con”.
What about if the customs convert from rb3 to rb2 fails? Anything to fix that?
@@jetscorner never had this issue before. Can you tell me the name of the custom? I could try it myself and troubleshoot if needed.

can you get rb2 export on rb3 without tu4
You would need an RGH to do fake DLC/exports, customs only work on TU4 on retail consoles
