- Thank my curiosity for trying this. Once not possible. Rock band 1 Export working on Rock band 3. Will look into getting to work on rock band 2 but yeah it works.

holy sh@t it worked on my xbox. THANK YOU SO MUCH I was so sad i could not download the exports since I missed them all but now I have the RB1 on RB3. Do you have the drive for the RB2 and Lego for RB3 aswel?

Honestly, I just like the rock band DLC tutorial that you showed us on Xbox 360, my favorite rock band game is The Beatles Rock Band. So I was wondering when you get a chance, do you think you can give me a tutorial on how to install DLC songs on The Beatles Rock Band because I always wanted to download the DLC instead of playing some boring On Disc songs?
Hmm I tried this and couldn't get it to work. I did the export from nautilus to a USB drive but when I plugged it into the xbox it thought that it was a RB2 file and I don't see the new songs in RB3. I'd really like to see a more detailed tutorial for this process if you're up for it!
A couple of question came to mind. What RB3 Disc do you have? Do you have title update 4 on either your usb or hard drive? And what amount of song do you currently have? Rb3 looks to have a song cap and that could be why. I’m not sure how to make a more detailed vid as how I figure this out was just downloading the file. Moving it to the usb then to the Xbox. Loading up the game and it was there.
Is it possible to do this on PS3 unmodded?
When I try to play the DLC, it keeps saying error "This disc is unreadable"
Man, I have been in x360 digital hell all day trying access all of our RB content. Is there a specific X360 dash os you have to be on for content to be accessible without needing the PC piece of this?
@@bobjohnson9277 hey I’m not totally sure if this is possible without a pc but to transfer this specific file for the Xbox to read/ identify it. A PC with the software is need to transfer over the usb and to be able to be used in game.
So have been able to copy the music to a flash drive from one of my 360 Slims. It looked like maybe I needed to connect it to Live to get the other Slim )my backup box if the older Slim dies) to get that Title Update 5 on the backup box. I assume the PC solution you dont have it plugged in online? Just didnt want to update box too far if it breaks the ability to play my content down the road. Or if I need to switch to the solution you noted.
Looks like I had to update the box and be online to access my content. Must have originally downloaded on one of my long red ringed boxes.

Nope files only work on Xbox 360.
I did all the steps. The songs show up correctly on the USB drive on my PC, but when I enter the drive on my 360, it doesn't find any of the songs. Anyone know why this might be?
Did you format the usb on the 360 before putting the export file with nautilus?
@@Nickyhi10 I did, yep. The USB drive really slows down by 360. Is it possible I need to get a different/better drive?
@@AllenTrieuScout yea might be the drive then. Try a new one following the same steps and hopefully it works.

No you need a modded console for rb2
Is there a reason Dani California isn’t exporting onto the system?
@@iRavage99 if you are on tu4. Dani and black hole sun won’t show. But if you update to tu5 one time. It’ll show and then you can go back to tu4 and play all songs

Play Rock Band 3 Deluxe
Well other might not have a pc to be able to run it with rpcs3,Xenia, or a modded Xbox. I personally don’t have either as I don’t have a beefy pc or have the money to afford a modded Xbox/make one. So this is the best option I have.
@@Nickyhi10rb3 deluxe doesn't require a beefy pc at all
@@milkmade22 while I’m not familiar with the requirements for RB3 deluxe. I just know that I do not meet those with my current set up. If you or others are able to then yea use rb3 deluxe. I just prefer to play on vanilla rock band as it just work without any modifications to the game or console itself
@@Nickyhi10 yeah we just recommend it cause it’s so awesome and you can play online with dlc and custom songs and it has cross platform leaderboards and so many great quality of life features.

No all songs must be played offline due to being on an old title update
