"the Adventures of Don Juan" has to be top 5 - an older, self-effacing and fun Flynn. My fav along with Robin Hood.

I knew Robin Hood would be #1 my favorite movie ever!!! I was born 15 years after the death of Errol Flynn but he is my favorite actor of all time! I have a 5x7 photo of him next to my television most of his films that are on DVD, next time I'm in California I want to visit his resting place! Errol , every time I watch your movies, you win an Academy Award in my heart!

Honorable mentions should go to "The Sisters", "Charge of The Light Brigade", & Errol's not great, but most solidly entertaining movies: "Dodge City", "Santa Fe Trail", "Adventures of Don Juan", "Desperate Journey", his last film with Warner Bros. "The Master of Ballantrae", "Kim", & finally his two late supporting roles in "The Sun Also Rises", & "Too Much, Too Soon".

Errol should have received an Oscar nomination for most of the movies on this list. Most notably, Robin Hood, Sea Hawk, Died with their Boots on and others. Errol Flynn : The Quest for an Oscar….Barnes & Noble is the must have book…

My fav in youth, but I wud put "Charge", "Don Juan" and "Santa Fe" over "Edge" and "Dawn"....

    He was so good looking

I think, despite all his personal human flaws, Errol Flynn was a seriously underrated actor. I can’t really argue with this list of his greatest movies but somewhere on that list should be The Charge of the Light Brigade. My personal favorite is They Died With Their Boots On.

I love Captain Blood that film is awesome ! That was his second film (besides a short flick in Australia ) and he looked like a seasoned actor . Errol was a maniac in real life . He died in the arms of his 15yo bride in Canada .

A fantastic man in all departments! 🤠👏❤️💃🎶

If Errol was granted another life time, I doubt he would live it any different. Adventurere and thrill seeker with a penchant for a pretty face. The 'one' you always have a sigh when you remember them.

  • @thomaschacko6320

Errol Flynn remains, to this day, the finest Robin Hood of all time. (Sure beats Kevin Costner!) He deserved at least an Oscar nomination, for leading a film that represented the best of Hollywood. He was a thoroughly underrated actor, who might have been taken more seriously had he applied some moderation to his lifestyle. Of course, if drinking, smoking, and womanizing were disqualifying factors, then Bogart, Tracy, Gable, and Cooper shouldn’t have been Oscar contenders, either.
