Wishing you a lovely weekend!
Oh my the shot with the dog and the old man is so so cute. It looks like the real life Version of the Movie UP. Oh my god I love this so much. I always really really enjoy these videos.
after a long day, teo video is all i need to relax
I'm not gonna lie, I always cry a bit when I watch your videos (in a good way). I love photography, but I live in America. And though I know it can be beautiful here, where I live there aren't many parks or social spaces, and very little greenery. And, in my opinion, the culture here is really lacking. From just the glimpses I get of Scotland and Japan, they seem so alive. People are outside, there are parks and vegetation everywhere, and the buildings all have such character. So, I suppose, whenever I see your videos, I get rather nostalgic for that liveliness, and it makes me yearn to be somewhere that isn't America. But really, I do want to thank you for your videos. Not only are your skills in speaking multiple languages, photography, and videography, very inspiring to me, but you give me glimpses of what life can be. The inspiration you give me is unmatched by any RUclipsr I've ever come across. I truly hope the best for you, and thank you for the peace your videos and photos give.
I think you are right! People in Japan have probably found the right way to live with the modernity while at the same time have simple things that provide joy. Things like walkable cities and nature and parks around make every locality so cost and lively.
@@neeravnaik I totally agree! There's something about America that feels very lacking in this sense, and I really admire Japan's balance and design of these spaces. I hope one day America will design its public spaces differently.
I have the same dilemma as you, as someone very new to photography. I like to use it as inspiration to make a better living so I can afford more travel.
@@Wilkins325 That's a really good mindset to have, I'll try to do the same :) Crossing my fingers that one day we'll be able to visit everywhere we dream of!
what i like about your videos is that not only do we get to see great photographs but a glimpse into the Japanese lifestyle
Photography is by far the best therapy. Sitting for the first time alone eating dinner and my anxiety is flaring! Your videos are so calming so thank you for creating in the way you do! It’s amazing and I hope you never stop creating.
always an instant click when I see these
The portrait of the old man and his dog is a 10, sooo good! Also the picture of the passing bicycle that you didn’t like much is pretty good to me
Right! I also loved how we could tell how Teo, you bowed in respect after the shot. ❤ Your content always inspires me to get out into my small town to shoot. I hope i can repay the favor to others someday (imagine me, virtually bowing here). 😊
hard to comprehend how beautiful your cinematography is. Taking inspiration constantly
i have been waiting for you to upload a new video, finally it's here. thank you for this, teo.
Teo, I think you might be the best RUclipsr ever. It’s so calm and relaxing and I learn something
so much love to your gentle way and amazing art
Teo thank you for making film photography so accessible through your photo walks. It’s really inspired me to appreciate the every day environment and go out and shoot more film.
Thankx for another video ! I love the shot with the old man and the dog .
Teo's new video makes the upcoming weekend even more exciting!
So beautiful. The beautiful light elevates everything to Ghibli movie like scenes. Monorail, beautiful flowers, trains, kids playing baseball and a cute old man with a dog. Everything looked perfect. I think the blurry shot with the man riding home on the cycle is actually perfect
What a good channel, lots of relax ,a little English learning, and lovely Japan style.
Relaxing as always
This is hands down my favorite POV! It's inspiring how you look at your shots and critique yourself. Also, the laid-back vibe of this video is very comforting.
I love the photo of the man with the dog. I was just in Japan for my honeymoon and one of the things I loved most was the connection the people had with their dogs - I think you could make a photo project out of it
Always love your relaxing photo walks. The big bonus is that I get to see areas of the world that I will never be able to visit.
Omg, this is straight out of a Ghibli movie! 😩♥️ Older gentleman with a dog and the very last shot with mount Fuji in the background are just amazing! Love your work, Teo.
Beautiful video as always Teo, you never fail to inspire me with the way you see the world!
Lovely work Teo! Those colours and the light were amazing.
that photo of the man and his dog is street photography perfection 🥹
nyaaww
deeper than tokyo😍
Man, that shot of the man and his dog...when I heard the shutter fire, I thought, oh no. Oh, yes! I shouted: Truly the perfect shot!
I never acknowleged how much greenry and vegetation affects our lived until this video
Beautiful as always teo!
I love when motion comes through on still photos so I’m very into your shot with the man slightly blurry on the bike
Gonna need my grandma to move to Japan so I can visit them even more. Love the video btw!
i love how you capture moments. i also really enjoy your thoughts around the pictures too.
12:57 BORING? wrong. it’s beautiful Teo omg
13:36 BORING? again? wrong. Teo pls put some respect on your compositions 😭😂
15:13 ATE THIS ONE UP. legit would buy a print.
16:23 convoluted is fair, i agree with you there 😅
16:36 *chef’s kiss*
such wonderful content as always, thank you for sharing your art
i love the photo of the man running along the track, i think the placement is perfect! i like him better there than the middle, i feel as though the middle would have been "too perfect" if that makes sense
I learn so much through these videos while also enjoying the aesthetic and calming atmosphere wich just makes it perfect!
I love the photo of the dog ❤
Japan is really a beautiful place! ❤
The man and the dog 🖼️
Just as I was about to get to bed, nice timing 🛏️
Awesome Video again! The vibes are just perfect!
Thanks for this video. I like the pic with the guy on the bike. Zen. 💯. I think I have to mention the music .Smooth
I prefer the one with the runner over the biker. I worked out thanks to the man standing in the river bed - the two men and the transmission tower form a triangle that moves us from the foreground to the background, adding a sense of depth.
The photo of the man with his dog is so nice - the lens renders them beautifully in the sunlight. And the train line at the end... 🙌💯
Love these videos Teo
14:52 is a masterpiece, not messy. There is a talk with the colors of the man same as the building
I actually really like the composition in the shot @12:14! Almost has a Gursky vibe to it! Another awesome video, thanks for sharing 😊
been waiting all week for a new Teo video 📹 🙌
p.s. how do you develop your film?
gold 200 in tokyo is the best match ❤
Fav❤
I love your photograph 🙌
Damn wtf I remember watching you during the pandemic with a few hundred subs now you have hundreds of thousands. Also were both in Japan lol damn time flies man.
Amazing
Hi there. Welcome to Tachikawa. you walked Shibasaki is part of the Kokubunji cliff line and rich water of Tokyo. In other words, it is also rich in greenery. The portrait of Shiba Dog and the old man is a very good photo. I applaud your courage😊.and I liked the bicycle photo best.
the way i rann to watch this
Always in the mood for a Teo video ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡
Lovely work, as always from you, Teo. 12:06 I think you pressed the shutter at exactly the right time, with the runner halfway between the sign and the edge of the frame. 11:24 What if you cropped in from the top and right ~40%, so you keep the low clouds and the cyclist and flowers but lose the apartment building and the higher clouds, removing distractions from the cyclist and also giving him some space to cycle into? Or would that much cropping go against your personal ethic/aesthetic?
For the shot at 11:30, I love the right side of the shot! I love the colors and I like how the towers (for lack of a better term) sort of frame the biker, as in he's inbetween them. That being said, I think what throws me off a bit is the fact that not much is going on ahead of the biker. I feel like everything seems sort of scrunched together on the right side of the frame, and there's not much going on on the left to really balance it out. Maybe if the biker was ahead a little bit more? Because looking at it again, he's not right in between the tower in the middle and the tower on the far left. If anything, he's closer to the middle tower and I think that adds to the feeling of being a little cramped on the right side of the frame. Sorry for the long reply! I really do think this is a beautiful picture, but I just wanted to point out what it was that might be throwing you off a bit about the picture as well. Love the video!
Awesome video! I love how the colour grading nicely matches that of the photos too! Have you ever tried Takumar lenses? If yes, would you suggest getting Spotmatic F over K1000 to be able to use them? :)
11:30 the shot is great overall in my opinion but I can see where you are comming from, perhaps shooting it vertically and having just the grass in the foreground and sky in the background could have made it feel a bit more focused and "clean", however still a great shot and sometimes it can be really hard to think of those tiny details in the moment especially when shooting film.
Also I can't wait to go back to Japan next May and these videos aren't helping my patience 😔
13:39 feels like Shin Noguchi stuff
have you changed your colorgrading style for this video ?? or its just japan is so beautiful
9:50 Have you looked into getting it a CLA?
Hello Teo! Are you using the camera's light meter or are you using a light meter device? I know you have the Pentax K1000. I have the same camera and are just curious.
man !!!!! ur Japanese is very good.
as a fellow pentax lover i always kinda wonder what lenses you enjoy using for the pentax? great video as always tho!
I used a Cosina 35mm f/2.8 for a couple years, but recently that one sadly seemed to have been damaged so I had to replace it a couple months ago. Now I'm shooting with a Pentax 35mm f/2. Sometimes, like for about 1% of my photos, I'll switch to the Pentax 50mm f/1.7 :)
Good one. Time for a new film camera?
can I ask how you managed to wind back the film without it going all the way in and being irretrievable? I've also had a few issues with my Pentax recently but haven't had the courage to try and rewind then open up the back panel
Omg i live in Higashi Koganei :)))
Ohhh no way! I ought to check out that area one day :D
@@teocrawford I'm just 5 min from Koganei park ;)) I hope i can bump into you on the Chuo Line someday haha
Hello Teo, in the country I live in, scanning films is very expensive. If I do this with my own camera, will I get quality results?
where can i buy your presets ?
what program do you use to edit your videos and get sounds and music if i may ask? I wanted to help a friend with a project for school and wanted to help with the editing.
I edit in Adobe Premiere Pro! :)
If you want to know more about my process, you can check out my video on this topic: ruclips.net/video/kkA_3eVKGtI/видео.html
@@teocrawford thanks a lot for the help!
