  • I never considered that I could cook a Pizza on my Gas Grill. Usually I just throw the Pizza into the oven. But when Monument Grills sent me their new Denali 605 Pro with the optional Pizza Stone, I knew I had to try it.
I decided to make some fresh Dough and then gathered all the ingredients I needed to make a Pizza. Pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, and some fresh Onion, Peppers and Mushrooms. Topped with lots of Cheese and we have a perfect Pizza.
So join me as I make my very first Pizza on a Gas Grill. Does cooking it on your Grill take the Pizza to the next level of flavor, or can you simply make your Pizza in your Oven? Watch the video to see what we think.
    Ingredients:
    Pizza Dough
    Pizza Sauce
    Mozzarella Cheese
    Pepperoni
    Canadian Bacon
    Sliced Onion and Green Peppers
    Fresh Mushrooms
    Italian Seasoning
Start by preparing your Pizza Dough. Allow it to Proof for 45 minutes to an hour. When done kneed the Dough for 5 minutes until smooth. Roll the Dough out on a floured surface until it is the proper size to fit on the Pizza stone.
Start by applying the Sauce evenly over the dough. Add a little cheese and then top with your favorite ingredients. Finally top with a little more cheese.
Place on your Pizza Stone and allow to cook for 10-15 minutes. Remove and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Slice and enjoy!

Mix some of that cornmeal in your dough and enjoy an added texture and flavor that is fabulous. Try substituting warm beer for the warm water as well. I have never made a pizza on the grill but it comes together real nicely in the oven.

Wow, thanks for the tips! The Pizza in the grill tasted great, just need to dial in the temperature, as I had it way too high. Will be trying it again with some of your tips. Thanks again!

You obviously haven't cooked Anything on that grill besides pizza. You put WAY too many veggies on, which are raw. I wouldn't feed that slop to my dog.

Your right, I clearly stated this was my first cook on this grill. It probably would be good if you can pay attention before articulating the obvious.
Yes, I put on raw veggies, which all of them would be perfectly fine to eat raw. But after several minutes at over 600 degrees they miraculous soften up to the perfect texture and consistency.
I feel sorry for your dog.

@SmokingBBQ if you met my dog, you wouldn't say that. He's absolutely viscous.
