Michelle was the best choice for this song. She has this very unique spiritual rhythm that stabs the soul like a dagger. I went through her 90s to 2000s playlist and all the lyrics and her amazing voice touched me to the degree where I just broke down and cried. The funny thing is that Michelle was the third singer they got for this song. Santana originally wanted Tina Turner or Macy Gray to sing it. They were both uncomfortable with the circumstances yet it ended up being the best version!

His guitar is the closest to a human voice that I’ve ever heard. When you hear his guitar solos, you know exactly who’s playing. Amazing.
