Chad has one of the most underrated voices in music imo. Smooth, slightly raspy delivery. Literal music to my ears!
Only reason he doesn't get more recognition is the fact that he is a total ass hole in real life. Dude has constantly called out mega star bands like Led Zeppelin saying they can't even begin to compare to him. Chad Kroeger is incredibly talented, but is also one of the most arrogant people in music.

You know the great thing about Santana is that he plays with the rhythm of the music he doesn’t play a song he just made he plays with the vocals of the singer and the pace of the drums which is amazing
um... that's the way you're supposed to play as a guitarist and that's what they do cause it would be a horror otherwise. I don't know how much you know about music or guitar playing but this is not just Santana, it's every player ever :D

Honestly, this is one of the few times I would have to say Kroeger is any good.
But then, what helps is that Carlos Santanas guitar help to really solidify the quasi tango beat which incorporates a bit of calypso to really solidify the beat.
And age matters why? Queen still Kicks ass, Elvis still kick ass, The beatles still kick ass, Led zeppelin Still kicks ass.

Age matters cause some songs are forgotten as time goes by and then there are some songs are which are remembered but doesn't feel that great when listened to after some years have passed. To me at least, this song stays the same everytime I hear it. It doesn't feel stale.

Nickelback covers a wider range of music genres than most bands. Everyone hates on Nickelback because they almost always have a heavy focus on Chad's voice (He has a great voice after all) and that's where the claim "all their music sounds the same" usually comes from.
