hi, what do you mean by “contact wash”? (2:45) seems like you use contact to off the soap in your other videos too. curious what the alternative to contact wash is
I like Chemical Guys snow foam because of how economical it is; I use 2 oz in my foam cannon. I've only ever used the Honey Dew green formula, haven't tried this one yet.
Thanks for the vid, I myself used Adam’s Mega Foam last year, but was always curious about this shampoo. Honestly looks very similar to Adam’s at a better price.
I've made a bunch of car shampoo reviews. If there's something you're interested in, watch at that video to compare. I largely don't remember one from another unless it's in my usual rotation.
It’s depends. If you have a light dusting or very minimal filth then the foam is all you need. If you have stuff that’s already caked and sticking, the foam will only be able to take anything that is lightly in place. Under most conditions, you’ll need to follow up with a contact wash. People generally foam as an extra step of precaution to prevent scratching. You can also contact wash with the foam which will save a lot of water.
@@HaiTran Thanks a bunch. I was always curious with the foam. I have a pressure washer, think I'll look into the foam attachment. Any suggestions on attachment?
You definitely want to use a pressure washer. There are options that attach to a hose but the result those options provide is essentially shooting wet soapy water. I don't see much use in that. Spraying just water will likely take the same amount of debris off so might as well save some money. I'd rather use a foam cannon with a pressure washer and get the thick foam. Lmao I told my boyfriend d he had to put water in with the soap (not this soap) a regular car wash soap he was like this thing sucks (he has the chemical guys foam gun) it doesn't come out nice. I was like you have to put water and soap not just soap he's like the water hose gives it water 🤦♀️ men are so stubborn they think us women don't know what we are talking about . I'm gonna buy this soap for our car and see his reaction. 🤣
This is one of better products from Chemical Guys. I tried other shampoo but keep coming back to this one.
Thanks for sharing!
It's like you made a cake. My foamer doesn't get that thick. It's varies with water alkalinity and nozzle size.
Those factors would effect any foamer. The one I use just happens to work fairly well with the lower powered consumer electric pressure washers.
hi, what do you mean by “contact wash”? (2:45) seems like you use contact to off the soap in your other videos too. curious what the alternative to contact wash is
A contact wash involves a person physically contacting and scrubbing the paint whereas something like a foam prewash requires no contact.
@@HaiTran can you link me a video of you using no contact for me to better understand?you still have to wipe the foam off with your mitt right?
This video in itself showed no contact. The foam is just rinsed off.

I personally like the smell of Watermelon Snow Foam more so I’ll probably restock on that 👍🏽
This was very helpful, thank you for thoroughly explaining everything!
You’re welcome!

Worth a try next time you need to restock 👍🏽
Can you do a review on Adam’s Mega foam?
It's unlikely but I'll think about it!
@@HaiTran what about a review on chemical guys Maxi suds ll

Great video! What do you think about foaming the car, while it is foam do the contact wash using bucket method? 😅
I’ve definitely heard people talk about doing that. I’ve never done it but it seems like a viable approach.
This vs mr pink which is better?
There's a video on both. Watch them and determine for yourself. I've given my opinion.
Hi..is it save to use this for motorcycle?
It’s soap so if your motorcycle can withstand soap then I don’t see why not. However, this should be a question for the various manufacturers.
What is the exact ratio that you used in the video. AWESOME video
Did you watch the video?
@@HaiTran I'll watch it I just sped thru it. Thanks
You're welcome.
Does it have “gloss enhancer” ? or a regular neutral car shampoo?
As far as I know it doesn’t have any enhancers but you should ask the manufacturer for an accurate answer.
Wich one smells better watermelon or honeydew green one?
That's more of a personal preference. I don't prefer one over the other. I use both about evenly.
Awesome video! Curious to know what pressure washer you are using? Have a nice day! Ty

I've never used the foam. Do you still need to handwash your vehicle everywhere or just in spots? How good is foam in general?
It’s depends. If you have a light dusting or very minimal filth then the foam is all you need. are you using a 1.1mm orifice or 1.25?
Foe this video, it was likely 1.25.
Chemical guys is pretty good
