    I love this soap but I have to say this is a pretty fair assessment. Through trial and error, I've manage to fully understand how this soap works with all its pros and cons. I know there are better soaps out there but for me, as a weekend warrior that takes care of my car, my wife's, and on occasion a family members car, this definitely meets my needs by a pretty good margin. Keep up the good work!

    Finding older videos that provide GEMS! Always good to get a Car Dose... Thank you. One other note is that if you modify your foam cannon to make sure orfice is 1.1mm, this will give you closer to that shaving cream even with lower end pressure washer.

    i, too, was skeptical, so I tested their claim of one squirt equals one ounce both on their more viscous soaps like honeydew and regular runny soaps like clean slate. It is accurate. If you squeeze it until the flow is no longer a solid stream it will be an ounce. I tested it using a measuring cup. I tried one ounce them two ounces and it is as accurate as can be if you don’t want to use measuring cups. However, I do think they add more soap off camera than they do in their videos because there been times were I try to replicate what they are doing and can never get the same foam. For example, in their videos using wheel cleaners the foam is always amazing. However, when trying that myself it doesn’t work.

    • @CardosCarDose
      @CardosCarDose  2 года назад

      Thanks for your opinion champ! 😉
      See, thats what my issue is. Not that its inaccurate, but the way they present it is inconsistent. One video they say "two squirts" but they are quick, and in another video they say "two generous squirts" and squeeze the bottle for a long time.
      Oh and that manipulation of product dilutions off camera i have noticed it as well with wheel cleaners -__-
      I will do more reviews down the line from CG to shed some light on the truth with real world results than staged recordings. Again, thanks for your input! ;)

    I use it many times and worked in a short time when cleaning but if you have it for a long time like using it for a medium sized vehicle or larger is not good for me. That's why I use Turtle Wax soaps or CarPro's or Adam's until I found Eight Below Ultimate and Bilt Hamber and now Ethos Ceramic and Lithium Double Tap

    Great review. I used 3oz in my PF22.2 foam cannon, it foams. But does it remove grimes? No, you really have to use wash mitt to agitate it. After drying the car using bigboi blowers, the paint seem sticky and not slick at all. I find Pearl Shampoo and Adams Car Shampoo washes better. That is because in my country the Philippines has limited choices. Thanks for the honest review.

    In your opinion what do you think the best soap is? I know a lot of detailers use Koch chemie but which do you think is the best, and do you think you can mix KC green star in your foam cannon with your soap?

    • @CardosCarDose
      @CardosCarDose  2 года назад +2

      I will be very honest with you champ, there is simply no "best" soap out there because there is a boundary where chemistry does not permit it to go further on what can be classified as a "car soap." What do I mean by that?
      Well, in order to get the "perfect soap" it would basically need to get a 10 out of 10 on ALL of my scoring criteria. That would be Ease of Use, Versatility, Cleaning output, Foam, and price. Right off the bat, this sounds like an All Purpose Cleaner if it were to score a perfect 10, which is why I cant say there is a "PERCECT" soap out there.
      If such a soap existed, I highly doubt it would be cheap, hence why it cant be perfect, and if its cheap and affordable, likely its not great in cleaning or ease of use.
      So to sum it up, there really is no perfect soap out there...
      Unless its dish soap 😆🥁This the real stuff 🧼😎
      I mean you could use GSF and Gs together and while it does have nice cleaning and foam, however, I cant recommend this as a best soap because it requires 2 products to make the "soap" and to many this isnt an economical product(s). BUT if its perfect for you, go for it! Everyone has a different point of view on what is "perfect" in detailing 😜

    Funny but what I read on the bottle of snow foam I use two oz in my foam cannon using tap water and an MJJC pro and I get really think foam that will stay on the panels and is great. I hate runny foam like you are getting at 16 to 1.

    • @CardosCarDose
      @CardosCarDose  2 года назад

      Trust! I think its a psychological thing where you know its telling you 16 to 1 is recommended, but wanna blast it at 8 to 1 or even 6 to 1 😂
      Basically use to your heart's content 😎 🫧 🧼 🧽

    So as far as your channel goes then Turtle Wax max soap YOU reviewed would clean better cause of its high PH

    • @CardosCarDose
      @CardosCarDose  2 года назад +1

      So far, yes! Is it the best method? Not really in terms of value. What I said remains true and that is because I criticized it from a business perspective.
      For casual use on the weekends, its an "ok" soap, but for businesses it's financially expensive, lacks high cleaning capabilities for TF, and is a bit risky to use since it lacks lubricity.
      Of course this is just an opinion as always, so if you vibe with the product keep using it 😎 If not, well I ill showcase another better product down the line! ;)

    Ha ha "it's a pretty good soap"...you said that after you said "it doesn't clean"...damn it sure is hard to get a straight answer on RUclips as to what damn soap to buy to wash a motorhome!

    • @CardosCarDose
      @CardosCarDose  2 года назад

      I never said "it doesnt clean," I mentioned it is an unreactive formula, completely different meaning. 10:14 Surface grime is what it cleans, which is great for maintained vehicles, but if your motor home is completely filthy and neglected I would suggest looking for a different soap (alkaline based soap).

    • @fckjb284
      @fckjb284 2 года назад

      @@CardosCarDose I misunderstood I guess, I already bought 64 ounces of CG Honey Dew snow foam (haven't used it yet), Thursday I'll have a foam cannon arrive, the motorhome has been hand washed with Dawn dish soap recently twice. I've got some oxidation and the usual small scratches in 33 year old paint over an aluminum body. I've ordered a CG Torqx kit with 5 pads... in the past I've had great results (by hand) with Meguires Ultimate Compound, Polish, and Gold Class paste wax on factory paint up to 52 years old on cars, motorcycles.
      Question...do you think sticking with the Meguires products ( I already have plenty of) will work comparatively as good as spending more for CG compounds, polishes, wax ?
      Also...Should I return the CG Honey Dew, and use cheaper Meguires Gold Class soap
      Thanks for any advice.

    • @CardosCarDose
      @CardosCarDose  2 года назад

      @@fckjb284 Hmm, personally speaking, I would stick with Meguiars. CG products have a tendency to be user friendly, hence why their performance is not that great for having such a large saftey net. If your vehicle is really old, then I wouldn't over think it because oxidized paint is pretty much dead paint, and i don't think being overly meticulous about it would have any noticable benefits.
      However if you REALLY want to take on the challenge of a full restore, a procedure of sanding/compounding/polishing the surface might be called to order. Hopefully this answers your questions ;)

    • @fckjb284
      @fckjb284 2 года назад

      @@CardosCarDose Thank you very much! I was hoping you would say that... I'm just an amateur, but I've had great ( to me ) results with Meguires.
      I will try some wet sanding, compounding and polishing along the bottom of the motorhome where there's a hardline area about 10 inches by 20 foot. I think the former owners must kept it waxed or covered most of the time because the 33 year old paint is pretty good compared to most old motorhomes.
      Thanks a lot for your response. I subscribed. 👍😎
