hi! im stuck at the step where you should remove your environment projection reflections from the plane by selecting "glossy indirect", but seems I just can't isolate my 3D objects reflections by doing that, I can still see environment reflections. how can I solve this?
This is super helpful for beginners but i can't help but think for a floor texture this smooth you could simply just take the image sequence of your object and invert it in a 2D composite and use the appropriate blend mode and blur node to match the scene😅
Hey, Thank you so much for this great tutorial. I have an issue with the reflection in some scenes, the reflection should be in colored mode, but my reflection just shows black or white like a silhouette image.
And again. Another great helpful tutorial I really need!! Could you please show us how to make building destructions for vfx. All the yt tutorials aren‘t explained well and doesn‘t work for me. Thank you
Thanks! Glad it was helpful. When you say "building destructions for vfx" are you referring to destruction in Blender generally? Or do you want to know how to build a building model and destroy it? I'm not sure I'm clear on your request.
@@LightArchitect You could show us how to model a building, destroy it and add it into a vid (mtracking etc.) I‘m interested in the destruction the most. Like you did in the crushing-tutorial.
This is so great, any idea how I can remove the reflection that competes with the cg object. They are overlayed on each other vs only seeing the cg reflection. help please!
Hmm....whatever I do, my reflection plane turns up in the glossy indirect layer as a black area instead being transparent. What am I missing there? Using Blender 3.6 btw.

You nailed it the best vfx tutorials for blender in compositing sense
Thanks so much for the input!
Hey, thanks for this video. I had this problem a while back and I was not smart enough to figure it all out. Much appreciated.
You are welcome. Glad it was useful. Lots of other ways to do this as well but this way is great for simple shots like this.

Definitely you could. Recreating that floor texture would add an extra layer of realism.
Effective technique.
Thanks! I think so too!

looks really good
Thanks!
But how to export that reflection to PNG with a transparent background???
Ultimate 👌👌👌👌🎬🎬🎬🎬
Thanks Jigar!
Cool!
Thanks Andres!

Probably use a mask?
thanks
