A perfect example of someone who actually uses their instrument to the max. From the tuning, to the multiple, extremely difficult techniques to the average player, to the mid-song EQ adjustments to fit the following set of arrangements. Fantastic work mate!

@@easyabc1404 That pedal isn't where that sound comes from. His pedal is a looper/sampler. It just lets him record a sample and then repeat it indefinitely. Any looper pedal will do that. His specific sound comes from his strings, his bass, and his amp. But even that isn't totally necessary. You could get that sound from a wide range of basses and amps, as long as they're not shit :) What kind of bass and amplifier do you have? Feel free to ask any other questions you might have.

Doesn't mean that he's the best bassist, cause I believe that there's no existent criteria to base an argument that says someone is THE best bassist. But..... I personally consider the creations, the music they made, the best way to judge a bass player ,as an artist, but as a musician, an instrumentalist, I believe is how many different styles he can play, how many difficult things he can play and make it sound good, and Charles fits in that category for me.
