🚨BUYER BEWARE 🚨My heybike ranger ($1200 ebike) battery died completely after 170 miles. Battery no longer holds a charge. Complete brick and customer service won’t help. I would not buy a HeyBike.
I got one, but mine won't fold, it's stuck. I'm trying to get it replaced. Dealing with Heybike support is a pain in the ass. Just hope your bike doesn't come with issues.
Were you happy with the pass settings? I just got one. The difference between PAS 1 ans 2 is huge. I haven.t dared go beyond. On flats I need to be geared low to keep up with PAS 1 on flat. Seems it was designed just to press throttle and sit, not peddle except on PAS 1.
That's a very outdated viewpoint on this bike frame. Step throughs are convenient for people that are unable to throw a leg over the seat- you may laugh, but many out there have back problems, knee injuries, a host of reasons why they can raise a knee over a seat to get on a bike. A step thru frame allows all people to be able to mount up, get moving and get active.
What I like about this Micah guy is that he doesn’t really sugarcoat anything. Just tells it like it is.

I have a Heybike and they told me it’s UL listed but no sticker on the battery to prove it.
It's a TUV certification.
How nice to have amazing e-bikes in the US.. Here in the Philippines, the e-bikes feel like a contraption made together within 5 minutes.
And so close to China as well, guess they know where the huge market and money is.
Because ebikes themselves are expensive (the one's that looks and feels like a bike)

I believe you can set your own levels in the programming.
Does the ranger s have tubeless tires?
