I love cargo bikes. With all the accessories they offer for this bike you can haul a lot of stuff, children, another adult, etc. Another home run from Lectric.
Another alternative are touring bikes, but they are build for light loads, but they don't use electric motor. Cargo bikes can haul heavy loads, and electric cargo bikes are very usefull if the bike isn't expensive.
I have the 2.0 and love it. My one issue is the lack of local repair and maintenance. I'm not very handy and it would be great to be able to take this to a shop for any issues. Hopefully they will start expanding into major cities with repair and sales
Just when I think they have thought of everything Lectric shows us they are not done thinking outside of the box. WOW. A trike, then this. Amazing. I still really love my Lectric X Premium but I sure do love these new tires. I bet they are whisper quiet on the road. The new handlebars look great too. I have so much faith in the Lectric brand. Really nice job on the review. I want one! I wonder if they will make a Dutch-style cargo bike next, with the huge basket out front over a small front wheel?
The software is the most impressive aspect, you can still go decently fast while drawing minimum amps/watts, giving this bike a legitimate massive range ..Bump it up to pedal assist 3 for hills and back down to 1 or 2 for flat areas...I suspect this will be copied, it's a much much better system...The components are above the price point, and meet the threshold of what's required for a trouble free experience, and longevity...Couldn't build it better for the same price, which is always my metric, and rarely seen..Home Run from Lectric..Those guys keeping prices low, is very admirable..
This is a massive release, cargo e-bikes are highly underrated. The problem always has been the price being outside the range of people willing to take that jump. This is exactly the right price for the features and accessories. And on the 28th, I'm pretty sure Aventon will release their first cargo e-bike. Just in time for the spring - what a great time to be an e-bike rider.
I appreciate the explanation of how the cadence sensor usage on this model. This is the right way to use a cadence sensor to me. I never understood why pedal assist modes were tied to speed versus motor output.
Should've known better. Every other has launched one, why wouldn't lectric? I mean they released 4 bikes so this one is 5? Many more models too come buddy 😂 ebikes aren't dead they'll continue releasing just like every other manufacturer, more, better bikes.
The least amazing rear light .. I do think it's a good weight for this much roll cage frame work.. Let's see a center stand more like the one used on the Flyer company folding model. This stand will sink into hot blacktop like a hot knife through butter, not to mention grass after a rain.. Very good job overall with this upgraded motor choice and battery combo. Love the versatility! Thanks for showing .. Good video!👍

Hey, as a first time e-bike rider in her early 60's at 5'5" tall who also goes camping, which e-bike would you recommend. I'm thinking, 20" fat tire step through frame? There are so many choices, how does one decide when they don't have access to sales shops. I'm also in Canada so prices are much higher. Hope to hear back from you as you do a great job explaining stuff.

I'd like to buy this bike off your affiliate link. I've got 1,900 miles on the bike and have had to take the bike in five times to adjust the brakes. That seems excessive. Will this bike be less prone to rust or do you know? Thank you.
I’m not sure but I wouldn’t bet too much. It bolts onto the rear rack’s bolt pattern. The locking mechanism is only for the pad cushions, not the actual frame of the Plus 1 chair.
I like my cargo bike, but I'm very disappointed in the company warranty!! These bikes are expensive.. so it seems my warranty doesn't cover nothing!! Don't think I'll be shopping lectric e-bikes anymore!! Very disappointed with this company!!
This looks great and if it had been out last year I may have considered it over the Tern Quick Haul that I have, however at this point I just have a hard time feeling good about or recommending anything that isn't UL certified. I know it would probably be fine but I would like to see e-bikes really get big, and while the price is right I think the safety needs to be unquestionable for mass adoption
Another issue with these bikes is going to be support from dealer network. Some bike shops are not working on cheaper electric bikes due to liability. Since tern and other higher end ebikes use Bosch, your local bike shop will probably have certified techs to work on the bike and electronics. Something not shown in this video is how does the bike do with weight on the back. I am happy to see this bike but its hard to say this is a good safe option to replace a car. More like it's a good option to help reduce car dependency
I agree. Having a bosch system definitely gives me a lot of peace of mind, cause yes my local Trek store will service it. I think one good way to get more ebike adoption is tax credits, and bikes like this I would not really feel comfortable with the government subsidizing. They have to be better.
It's gotten to the point where the fud campaign around Underwriters Laboratories is simply amusing. When Zhengbu and Engwe have paid their $2400 to use the logo what does that mean to you? Is it like the GM Mark of Excellence? If your bike needed service, especially out-of-the-box, why wouldn't you go to one of the 900 factory-authorized Lectric service centers?
@@letsgoOs1002 "I am happy to see this bike but its hard to say this is a good safe option to replace a car. More like it's a good option to help reduce car dependency" Well, to someone like me, a cargo e-bike would be the only option. I no longer have a driver's license due to going through several chronic illnesses that led me to be declared legally disabled. It's not to say that I will never get my license back or that I won't ever drive a motor vehicle again but I am going by my current reality. Not everyone has the same needs so I would stay away from making blanket statements.
Good luck if something breaks down you better know a good bike store because expedition customer service is very very aggressive they do not want to fix it for free
Looks like the only thing it's missing is front and rear suspension and 1000 watt motor. I'm curious if the second battery gives the motor more torque or just extends the range?
We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
In EU radpowerbikes maked a huge mistake! Increased all rad ebikes prices & 250W power limitations obliged by old very old EU laws! Lectric ebikes might have a chance in EU / UK w/ actual specs, and of course, reasonable prices. Mike rocks!!
I don't like the pedals being proprietary. The tire options would be limited. I will never understand why manufacturers insist on derailleur gear when internal gear is so much more reliable. For me, thumbs down 👎

I am not sure what you are referring to, after a quick look at Zhengbu and Engwe's websites I don't see where they advertise that they are UL listed.

Well, to someone like me, a cargo e-bike would be the only option.
Do ya think they’ll give me a birthday discount? Lol
Looks like the only thing it's missing is front and rear suspension and 1000 watt motor. I'm curious if the second battery gives the motor more torque or just extends the range?
They need to make it dual hub motor
Then the price goes up.
Can this be purchased in Canada??........somehow?
Ahh, you got troubles too? I thought it was cuz I was living on da rock that the site was saying "can't be shipped to your location" lol
How many watts is it?
Its not foldable?
More bikes and less cars? Maybe in California. My bike gets 3 month’s use before it gets stuffed back in the garage here in Seattle.
Sucks no front hydraulic shocks, and double rear shocks.
Demonstrates a cargo bike,...doesn't demonstrate cargo carrying capabilities, 🙄
Is there also a battery in the frame?
It needs shocks or you get a rough ride
Is this ebike UL listed?
Hi Mike! This is a copy of Radwagon that exists for many years!
For way less money and arguably better in the brakes and wheel size
With no proprietary tire size that they have to recall.
For me, thumbs down 👎
now they should just chop that way oversized ugly rack off the back and make the XP 4.0
This is a paid promotion
This review is not even independent
It’s ugly
