- We are back with the 2. Part of our GrandMA3 Recipe showcase with August Thede from Denmark.
In this episode we dive in to how August imports a MVR (My Virtual Rig) file in to his existing show, and how everything is organized to get the maximum out of the stage lighting rig.
One of the benefits of using GrandMA3 recipes is that your need for cloning goes down to a minimum, and the recipes are “intelligent” when you have a larger or smaller lighting rig than what you programed in the first place.

I like the idea to press store and get a recipe option, nice couple of videos with some real world solutions there.
I’m a programmer and for festival purposes, recipes, xyz programming, and macros have taken an enormous task of updating positions with 10 min changeovers, and making my file work in different rigs, and turned it into a 5 min process. MA is amazing
Thank you both. Very nice to see. Can’t wait for the next one.
I'm very intrigued by recipes. You've excited my interest.
I'd love to watch a process of building a basic show and song with recipes. (Yes, I need to re-watch a few of your videos.) How do you move lines from one cue to another? What's the command line / button sequence like? How do you deal with long lists of groups and presets on a large show?
please make a video on how to connect GrandMA3 and Capture Visualiser
I guess I struggle to understand when you need to cook and when you don't?
Hi guys, great job! Would you mind to explain why/how the last bit did not at first, but finally,
work? Knd Regards.
