  • In this video (Part 2) I continue the run-through of my grandma3 show file.
    We start with looking at GrandMA3 timecode and I will show you how to record timecode, how to activate timecode, and how you can edit you timecode markers, after the recording. We add more track to the recording after this and build a very simple GrandMA3 timecode show.
    Then we dive in to the GrandMA3 MVR import (My Virtual Rig). If you remember in the last video we build a simple show, using only GrandMA3 recipes. The benefit of that is that we now have a very versatile GrandMA3 show file with a lot of flexibility.
    I show you how easy it is to setup, and what you need to be aware about when you work with MVR in the GrandMA3 software.
    After the import we look at how you can use GrandMA3 cloning to get info back in your GrandMA3 presets after you have imported the MVR file.
    Then we go in to storing our groups with new fixtures using the power of the GrandMA3 Selection Grid. The selection grid makes it very easy the store you groups, so the console knows how the fixtures are positioned in real life, to make all our effects run like they are suppose to.
    We cleanup the GrandMA3 show file and we see your show come back to life with a completely replaced lighting rig.
    I hope you will enjoy the video 😀

    Very nice tuto, I will thank you for your amazing job!
    But I have a question: if the band play a little bit faster, can we adjust the TimceCode with a SpeedMaster or RateMaster?
    I don't understand how I can do it.

    hi. Nice video. I would recommend making a universal color,focus and beam presets. In any case if you dont like the preset you need to store a new global or selective preset in addition to it after the cloning, so why not make it universal? I don't clone anything in my show... Cloning is so ma2 :)

    • @Event-Lighting
      @Event-Lighting  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes that could work - I never use universal presets for color, because I always have to adjust them anyway, but I see you point 👍

    Why that Timecode View function on MA3 now is not logical? It's not possible scroll time line? That crazy delete function, you only know what you gonna delete when you already deleted events. And also Cut function doesn't work, and it's not possible to snap events exactly to frame rate units. That is completely disaster!
