I just loved the way they introduced Alcryst; he went from being one of the biggest badasses to the biggest coward you'll know in the game. It's comedy gold 🤣
ironically enough, as much as he hates himself, he actually likes people and will go out of his way to socialize, and yearn to travel to widen his horizon. he will come out from his castle willingly, he will socialize willingly.
As someone for whom Bernadetta is one of their favorite characters, that would certainly explain why I instantly fell in love with their introduction! XD
I remember seeing this scene, I was so scared of Alcryst. When he ran, I was expecting him to pin me down and beat me to death. Even him being so sorry, I am still traumatised.💀

When Soul Eater is a mix of Takumi from Fates and Bernadetta from Three Houses, and has Rimuru Tempest/Mikoto Misaka and Tiese Shtolienen/Yomogi Emarl as his retainers!
Alcryst is my second main first being Zelkov but before Zelkov this guy was my favorite. I saw him almost Headshot Alear and saw who his retainers were. Being a fan of Sages, Snipers and Swordmasters these guys instantly became favorites of mine. the sorry at the end was just icing on top of the cake. Love Alcryst!
I’d say alcryst as it’s less muddled with the mind control takumi had and even though he had a small role his final words to his dad where better then anything takumi said imo
Please i pray that alear wont be as annyoing like Corrin with constantly saying sorry and friendship, and I dont wanna Hurt a fly personality and extreamily naive.
For real his half baked gag is written into nearly every single one of his lines, this guy has the worst case of “one-personality-trait-itis” I’ve ever seen in a Fire Emblem character
