Three Degrees of Hydronic Design Retrofitting & Designing for Heating & Cooling

Join Michael Ridler ( Eden Energy Equipment ) Max Rohr ( Caleffi ) and Bob Rohr ( Caleffi ) for one of Eden Energy Equipment's most popular training modules. This session we will be deep diving into how to design and retrofit a boiler system into a modern heating and cooling hydronic heat pump. Our three hosts will live draw a retrofit from a heating only hydronic system to a heating and cooling hydronic system with color commentary and detailed discussion of every aspect.
Max, Bob and Michael will discuss the do's and dont's of moving from a heating only to a heating and cooling hydronic system. They will be incorporating and discussing modern applications for heating and cooling without chilled beams or air handlers and how to properly do DHW with a low temp application. They will also discuss the various methods of applying a hybrid heat pump system. You can apply this knowledge to air to water and water to water applications.

How would you pipe a system with only buffer tank, with single coil heating and cooling fan coil units, and take advantage stratification seasonally?
