This game is extremely well developed, for 2020. But it was made almost 20 years ago. That's why we still love it. RCT3 sucked, rct world sucked, and all other similar management games (there are thousands because of mobile gaming), and because of this, us now-adults are looking back fondly at this game and crying tears of joy because it's still being developed and improved in an open sourced environment. Genuinely epic.
Yeah, okay, this Air-Powered Coaster design may quite possibly be the absolute most efficient design you can make, but can we take a moment to recognize the coaster in the top-left corner of the end screen breaking the sound barrier?

Game makes me want to play Planet Coaster only to discover that they overcomplicate building as well as being poorly optimized. I also got RCT3 for free which is kinda like Planet Coaster but RCT3 has more terrible UI than even RCT2

Possible tip for everyone: This works great for Extreme Heights and actually speeds the guests through decently instead of the launched twister coaster shown in Marcel's Extreme Heights video. Then again, longer coasters that can have more guests on them at once means fewer guests on paths so building tons of these might not work out so well in monster parks. Your mileage may vary.
It's not as common in scenario play and, if it is unlockable, is usually one of the last coasters to be unlocked. The corkscrew coaster is much more common. I'd say it's amazing when available, but the profile picture corkscrew design is going to find more uses.

My original design is in fact called "The best second of your life" As it only lasted 1 second, having a single tile short station. Could still charge $20 for it, since its intensity was in the mid 9s

It's still incredible how well as a simulator Rollercoaster Tycoon (2?) was designed. It takes so much effort to discover all these laws behind stats... Especially to analyse their interactions that make the game seem complex and thus enjoyable. It is just facsinating! Thank you Marcel!

I personally think profile pic coaster is a little more OP still as most hard scenarios are pay for entrance and it adds more to the guest cap per dollar. Crazy stats on this one though great content as usual
I think the next video should be about ride queues. Their use of keeping guests off paths, how long/short it should be, do queue line TVs do anything, do entertainers in queue lines do anything, can guests get so unhappy from queueing they just leave after the ride? Could be good!
The best coaster I ever had in this game was a basic raised wooden coaster, all it did was go in waves up and down, with no big drops or anything, but it spanned around my entire park, going through tunnels. It stayed popular for like 100 years until it broke down so much that it stopped making sense to repair it.
Even though I don't play this I find it interesting. I'm also a big fan of how you don't insult the viewer's intelligence at all. In this video you don't try to pretend the thumbnail isn't what this is about or that we didn't realize that. In a different video pretty quickly after bringing up animation speed you noted that we all probably already deduced what caused tired people to drown slower. Just feels nice, so thank you.
Do a video on how to keep guests from getting lost. RCT2 improved on this as every peep in RCT got lost super easy but players on other channels still don’t know that you need to have as few path options as possible. Also address wide areas like entrances and food courts. Love your channel and what you’ve done to push the game forward.
Jeffrey Senecal can you explain how to do this? I have Open RCT2 and even messing around with cheats I’ve not been able to get ATM access in the Classic scenario.
This design actually gets even better with OpenRTC2 cheats as I found out a few years ago :) Make the whole design the exact same but completely banked, then set both the launch speed and number of laps to the maximum and watch the magic happen :D

Should make a video on how OP 2 block mazes are with a straight line to the exit. You don't make a ton of money, but if you make the exit and entrance land on a side walk and you build a ton of these, it's like free advertisements to the park. It looks stupid, but with enough of these, the amount of people in your park just keeps increasing. I use this method to get enough people in the park to make money as quick as possible.

I literally came back to this video months later after my first time, not because of the main content, but because of the uber fast roller coaster spinning in circles at the end. 🤣
I've got a suggestion, since I've built different rides in rct2, try using two stations one the guests get on the ride the other they get off. Track connects the two stations and there is less wait time for the guests. Also now you can play the starting height of the ride like the log flume...put the starting station up high guests go down and around to the exit station and the lift quickly brings up the empty log to be loaded again...Just a tip for other people hold down shift on your keyboard and you can raise/lower a lot of things in rct2 also using open rct2 helps depending on how you use it
Build it elevated (3 blocks) and add a loop element from a different coaster type as "scenery" so it looks like it's going through a "another coaster" for a .75 boost in excitement rating, the more you add, the more your excitement goes up.
I put a banner in RCT in the exit to let ppl trapped in the park, but that didn't work because they stop going to the amusement park toys and stayed near to the exit. I also stopped receiving new guests after that and the part went bankrupt.
Marcel, love the channel, and it reignited my joy of the game to download it again on Steam during these trying times. Been playing it a lot recently and it re-invigorated my decade old theory from when I was a child that I could not prove. Perhaps you have more insight. Can you improve your park rating by removing guests who want to leave the park? There are of course many variables that go into park rating but this is a theory I’d appreciate you try if you haven’t already. Much thanks!

Put the entrance and exit on the inside of the loop and you can get the synchronized station benefit. Plus TWO super powered coasters
20 euros for 2 seconds of excitement, reminds me of my trip to Amsterdam.

Add kiosk to a path and also make all paths connect around in a loop no dead ends to reduce guests getting lost

In Rollercoaster Tycoon Classic I can charge $10.50 for rollercoasters and the only setback is they seem to run out of money.
I always (on OpenRCT2) spawn in ATM machines once guests start running out money. It's one of the few "cheats" that I actually use in scenario play.

Been playing it a lot recently and it re-invigorated my decade old theory from when I was a child that I could not prove. Perhaps you have more insight. Can you improve your park rating by removing guests who want to leave the park? There are of course many variables that go into park rating but this is a theory I’d appreciate you try if you haven’t already. Much thanks!

Evergreen Gardens voltooien zonder paden en tuinen/bomen/etc. te verwijderen en zonder bordjes met 'geen toegang' te plaatsen, of Amity Airfield en/of Fungus Woods voltooien zonder geldautomaten. Ik ben benieuwd!

@@midievalcat7770 I know, but it could have more rides, more stalls, guests with different ages and genders, and a first person mode like RCT3; while mantaining those nice RCT2 graphics.
You could always just play RCT3 with the isometric camera view
