Great idea! On the first method, it looks like the path is on the center of the image, so you could probably save yourself time on the positioning by putting the pencil point in the center. If you copy and paste the image, rotate it 180 degrees. Then make the second image transparent. Last, group the two images together. Also, why not continue the pencil path off the page so that the hand just continues off the page instead of adding another effect. I hope this will work for me, I'm still using Powerpoint 2007, so I don't know if it will have all the same options...

You can surely continue the pencil path off the page, if you like... It is just a matter of --- Which effects you want to incorporate in your presentations.
Since PowerPoint is a very effective tool to make presentations, as per one's ideas and imagination, So... feel free to experiment with different ideas.

@@oluwolejohn3435 You can just search the internet for hand with pencil and choose transparent as an option. Personally, I just took a photo of my own hand, then erased the background with some software. It's not that hard to do and you don't need to be perfect.
