Starfield took away almost a decade of development time from Elder Scrolls and Fallout for what amounted to a mediocre experience. Microsoft absolutely bungled this purchase and let Bethesda sit on their staple IPs without anyone working on them. You have to wonder how they thought any of these time tables were acceptable? 20 years after Skyrim and 10 after the acquisition we finally get a new Elder scrolls? You could teach a college lecture on mismanagement.
Awful bold of you to assume we are getting a Fallout 5. After the disaster launch of 76 and the dumpster fire of Starfield Bethesda hasn't had a good track record. Once ES6 flops even Microsoft's money isn't going to save them.
Well considering how well the show did in bringing people into the IP, and once you consider that MMO’s are literally being used by every studio because they are serious cash cows, you’ll understand why fallout 5 will inevitably happen. Like it doesn’t matter how fallout 76 started because it’s a pretty good game now and I hate to say this, but only og video gamers actually remember 76’s launch. Like hell, I’d be surprised if I met someone who still remembers being burned by cyberpunk but people seem to have a short memory until you remind them of stuff, but yeah the video game industry is the largest entertainment industry in America/the world so yeah fallout 5 will definitely happen
Yea, take a look at the concept art for Oblivion. It blows what we got out of the water. Apparently, Todd saw LOTR and decided to change a lot of things after that.
I have thousands of hours on both skyrim and fallout 4 owning multiple copies of each over serveral devices, completed new vegas and 3 several times. I completely feel this vid. Didnt touch the dumpster fire that was 76 even though ive always wanted a multiplayer fallout. I managed to play starfield for less than 5 hours (thank god it was on gamepass and i didnt waste money on that shit) was slow boring and clunky. they would of been much better putting that dev time into their 2 already established and popular franchises the tv show was great... funny and mostly lore friendly and most importantly not full of woke nonsenses
Bethesda is outdated indeed. But dude just look at fallout LONDON, just a mod and how good it is... Its just Fallout 4 in a new area basically and people love it
I doubt it. it’s more than likely well into development. if it was just past pre production, we won’t see it for at least 7 years, and Bethesda wouldn’t risk that right now
You're missing out with Fo4 as well. Everything but the main quest is good, and the Far Harbor expansion is well regarded even among the worst New Vegas zealot.

And if Todd and Emil wouldnt be around to mess with F5 and TES6 thatd be a good thing

I think it’s perfectly reasonable given the track record of the company sadly

Starfield wouldnt be a great game if it came out in 2004
ES6 isn't even in production yet, just past preproduction...that is 4-5 years out. FO5 is 10 yrs+.

I never played 4 , never played skyrim either

@@Tattletale-Delta FH is pretty decent but only in comparison to the main game. Its actual story is too basic to consider it a masterpiece
@@Brandelwyn Didn't say it was a masterpiece, just that even FO4 haters praise it.
"~Go play Fallout 76, it's not that bad~" Lol :D
I do agree with all your points.
If ES6 comes out 2026 we're hosed...
O how wrong you will be lol
I wish fallout nv was never released.
Why? Because now youre spoiled by its good writing and characters?
@@Brandelwyn Their are plenty of games with good writing and characters so no that's not the reason.
@@robertdowling4673 then what is?
@@Brandelwyn If i tell you you'll think its silly. But I don't care. It's because of its fans i don't enjoy games anymore.
