After going carnivore 3 years+ ago I tried to roll everything back in like french fries frozen pizzas tacos. When you're doing this for illness, for me it was bowel disease, I just couldn't tolerate it anymore. Sometimes we just got to prove it to ourselves. Beef butter bacon and eggs seems to do the trick for me so I'm sticking to it.🔥💪❤️

I get what you're saying, and really well done for finding the solution. However I tend to disagree with your reintroduction of the carbs. Why put highly processed carbs with seed oils back into your diet? Why not try clean/well fermented carbs - Italian 00 flour for pizza's and pasta's, Spelt grain for bread etc.
Just food for thought - no pun intended 😉

Your boddy tricks you into thinking you need more of the same to feel better. On 100% carnivore the body is at peace and that's why there's no cravings. I see this Carnivore diet as a way to a healthy lifestyle. What I think lots of people Misunderstand is the abundance of food and addition of Genetically Modified foods are new concepts. Back in the 18th century it was a real possibility that somebody could starve to 💀 if they did not plan well enough for winter and spring. Now a days we need to regulate what we are eating and how much because the fear of starvation doesn’t really haunt us like it once did.

Dr. Shawn Baker has a bucket of Maldon Salt beside him which “is a poor choice” of salt because that company in Maldon is on the the flat tide washed salt marshes, low rainfall, and high salinity banks of the River Blackwater in Essex, south eastern England which is a close distance to London and the mouth of the River Thames.
~Do not use and try to stay away from “all” types of “sea salt” that has “recently” been evaporated from modern river-ocean-sea water.
~But rather instead as a first choice use Redmond Real Salt from Utah, USA which is mined from a dry-land ancient sea-bed where it’s safe and free from “modern day” ocean pollutants, contaminants, and no micro plastics. Which is unrefined ancient sea salt that is free from additives, ‘not’ processed, and full of trace minerals that gives it a subtly sweet flavor.

Still, I really enjoyed doing a Shawn Baker at a banquet with group of colleagues who all trend vegan. I just sat there slowly working my way through a ribeye that I’d ordered cooked “as rare as you are comfortable cooking it!” No I don’t have trouble with bowels - I still have a robust micro biome because I grew up on a farm shoveling cow and chicken manure daily despite being 81 i assured them. Fun aside, she sounds like her metabolism is much more sensitive than mine. My experience is that it really works for me to cycle between just red meat, keto, and having certain carbohydrates. By certain I mean most recently about 300 Gr sweet potatoes for a few weeks. I’m dropping them now and going meat, eggs, cheese, fish only. I may throw in some mct oil to get the ketones up. I was out of meat on my 16th day of carnivore...was also oxalat dumping, hives, swollen feet, etc... so i had a quick can of chicken noodle soup and some velvetta type cheese...then as normal, carb escalated to a can of mixed fruit in sugar... the next day i felt like crap. Recovered quickly. Ribeyes tonight. Eggs eggs eggs, bacon brats yesterday... gettin these dsmn oxalates outta me... ive got 20 lbs to lose and diabetes will not be my next diagnosis... carnivore diet offers me the only way out of these multiple chronic afflictions i face and i going forward without any more hickups.. im now in bulldog mode.🎉 thanks for your info❤

Definitely not true. I had some pulled pork with a lot of sugar in it last summer. It was very sweet and I thought to myself, "it's probably not that much sugar, I'm just extra sensitive to it because I don't normally eat it," and then I didn't think about it again. The next day I was ruined similarly to this girl. Fatigue, thick brain fog, extremely depressed and wanting to die. I hadn't felt that way in a year, since I'd started carnivore. Took me that entire day to figure out what was going on. If I was a hypochondriac I would have linked the meal to the symptoms immediately, but I didn't. I forgot I'd even eaten it until I was laying on my bed sobbing at 5pm the next evening and a lightbulb suddenly went off.
I'm not sure what your issue is that you feel the need to decide how other people's bodies work or what their lived experiences are. My body is different from yours. Maybe you can handle eating sugar. I can't. That's not up to you and it's really weird to think someone would bother to lie about this sort of thing.

No effect, no weight impact, just blood sugar a little bit higher, of course and ketones Low for half a day. But not feeling sick at all.
We are 100% fat adapted. Started out keto over five years ago and switched to carnivore a couple of years ago. On the rare occasions we have something different, there are never any side effects.

Carny for years now… but I freakin do love a pancake. I know that when I do it I piss off my guts, but I have adopted some other foods mainly blueberries (by themselves) once in a while when I feel the urge, a little bit of asparagus now and then and on heavy leg days some kind of carb like a 1/2 yam or something. Personally I will usually only add things like this to an egg meal not with steak… If I have asparagus with a steak I will eat the asparagus first usually while I’m cooking it and then have the steak after. I don’t notice any adverse effects from some of these changes I’ve added into what I’m doing.

To be honest and fair, this is a bit extreme, and speaking from personal experience, i dont have a reaction when i consume junk food (non meat). I even have fibromyalgia. Just really are so many variables though. When i eat "junk" its not ultra processed. I ate a small loaf of home made organic gf bread made from about 6 ingredients. Had no negative reactions. I eat in a 4hr window, and i eat generally 90-100% meat. If i add junk, its whole food or organic minimal ingredient choices.
For me, my body is doing superbly.
Id bet these pancakes were ultra processed. Just a hunch

We went to vegas 2-3 weeks ago. I had just got off my period. Ordered room service and shared a brownie with my hubby to celebrate. I broke out and literally had another period, very painful and since starting carnivore my cycles have been a tickle. as soooon as we got back home I ate a steak with a glorious amount of butter. So I guess my reproduction system was like, let me just let go of all this trash because I'd much rather prefer this over whatever you tried to feed me in Vegas.

I eat Keto due to it's summer now I primarily do carnie in the winter mainly but I got really really sick just from just cutting buns at work. I got the chills, aches, congestion and bacterial green stuff and I was very useless to anyone who needed me. I didn't even eat one. Just breathing in the gluten. I work in a school where it is but free and egg free. So lots of options for snacks are not available to everyone. It's not inclusive to celiacs. I wore gloves, but not a mask. It's been nearly a month and my ears have been plugged for a couple weeks. I read it can take months to clear up.

Why would anyone eat a gluten free anything? The most famous person with "gluten sensitivities" has to be Novak Djokovic. We all know that it's an inflammatory/body going into 'protection mode' like a car audio amp. He permanently changed his diet... problem 'gone'. When we eat for pleasure are we really though? ...because the hangover effect (withdrawals/detox) has nothing pleasurable about it.
