It’s people like you that makes China special.
I just don’t see expatriates talking about their residing country like the ones in China.
A few here and there, yes, but nothing like those in China.

I'm in the US east coast, taking Uber for that same distance of 15km will cost you 10x or more, depending on the time of the day. And i believe gas price is cheaper in US.

    • @OurChineseLife

Wow really? I thought Uber is cheap? Most cars here in SZ are electric now so I have no clue about gas prices. I’ll go check it out at the gas station when I see one 😉

In the US me and my brother left our bikes outside of a convenient store for five minutes to buy some drinks and when we came back outside a guy threw both of our bikes into the back of his pickup truck and was about to drive off with them until I ran up to him and screamed at him to put our bikes back onto the parking lot or I would done some serious harm to him. I intentionally chained my bike and my brother’s bike together to make our bikes hard to steal, but that sob thief still threw our bikes into his pickup truck! Five minutes was all it took for a thief to try to steal our bikes! That’s how bad crimes are in the US! My best friend’s niece and nephew almost died from a shooting a few years ago when his nephew accidentally bumped his shoulder into a vicious a-hole who followed him out of the store and shot him while he was sitting in his car with his sister in the parking lot! That is how dangerous and looney the people in the USA are! People get shot for bumping into somebody in public places or for looking at somebody that could be interpreted the wrong way by a lunatic with a gun! BTW, my friend’s nephew was shot in the shoulder blade area where the bullet went in one end and came out the other. His niece was graced by a bullet in her ear! A couple of inches closer to her head and she would have gotten her head blown off!
