      The raw garlic is actually really good after a mouthful of noodles - it's cuts through.
      Ursula and I couldn't give a monkeys about US sports, but we do like to wear the associated apparel! Go figure!

    What I could see here is how open-minded your kids are growing with. They speak English and Mandarin equally excellent, they will have a lot more choices in their future. That's the real FREEDOM!

    DeeDee has written one of the most complicated Chinese word and looks incredible. I like your Rogers Moore burgers as well. The belt noodle is got to be the widest noodles I have seen anywhere. Congratulations ! I enjoy watching your whole family willing to venture out to some tasty Chinese cuisine.

    Roger (RIP) would've loved that a burger was named after him. "The Saint" was one of my favorite show when I was a kid. BTW, I had a belt like that in the 1970s. 🤭

    Roger Moore walked into a Chinese restaurant in China and introduced himself to the waiter "Hi my name is Roger Moore." The waiter disappeared immediately to the kitchen and came back with a ..... you guessed it .... Roujiamo !!! 😂😊😅

    Those portions are enormous. We have shrink-flation here in Canada. Instead of raising the already high prices of food, they lower the portions trying to trick you that it's cheap. Also found those Roger Moore creeping up every time he's mentioned hilarious

    There's so much interests about China nowadays around the world, especially from the West. Here's an idea:
    How about making some HOW TO videos for tourists who want to visit China: Apply Visa to China, Current Visa rules, Get their phones working in China, Popular APPs to use in China for: Translator, Maps, Booking hotel, Trains, Restaurants... etc in China.
    Each topic can be a single short video, I think there would be a big demand for it.

    David & Ursula, loving the sports theme wear. As a Canadian, thumbs up on the hockey jersey (although I wouldn't be caught dead wearing anything from that team😉). I can't believe the Dodger's logo isn't covered in sauce. You're right, don't wear white if you're going to eat noodles! Anyway, another Biang-er of a video... two of my all-time favourite Northern China dishes, Biang Biang Mian and Roger Moore's. Unfortunately, I'd have to sell a kidney to finance a meal like this over here.

    That’s one of my all time favourite noodles the belt noodle. But I can’t find this where I’m living now unfortunately…. I’ve been craving for this noodle thé pass few weeks. So jealous of u guys. Ohhhh n I love love love the Chinese burger 🍔 and from now on I’m going to call it Roger Moore too way to fabulous

    2:23 That's not saozimian. It's mashi (麻食). In the soup is not noodle but small flour pieces.

    a little simple trick, in order to eat soup noodle neatly you just need to hold the end of the noodle in a spoon, and sip along, then put the final part with the spoon into your mouth, the only risky part is the high altitude and quick lift with your chopsticks

    作为一个每天必吃面条的北方人我必须说,中国陕西或者北方(除了东北,他们吃米饭)有更好吃的面食,因为他们只吃面,只会研究面的种类,但很多西方人不知道这点,在美国他们认为中国面条就是炒面😂。因为国外的中国人大多数是南方人。另外南方也是外国人热衷的旅游地,所以我认识的外国人都以为中国人只吃米饭😢。另外,北方人吃面条从来不用勺子,抱着盆一般大的瓷碗蹲在板凳或者大门口,吸溜吸溜能咥一大碗,端起碗一口气喝完剩下的汤。这可能是为了适应南方沿海的习惯(珠三角的江浙人和长三角的广东人)
    还有,由于陕西人深处内陆比较保守不会宣传,也跟不上潮流,以至于前几年的有一个网上流传的评比中国十大面条,竟然没有陕西的面条,陕西的油泼面,biangbiang面,哨子面,踅面,驴蹄子面,羊肉饸络,扯面,棍棍面都没有上榜。十大面条南方的面条占有一多半,比如奥灶面,热干面,担担面,重庆小面,等等,北方上榜的只有山西刀削面,兰州拉面。因为南方人善于做媒体宣传,而且是南方某个美食协会组织的。直到后来抖音的兴起…
    不过,西安人喜欢吃蒜,但吃饺子从来不吃蒜😂,他们支持油泼辣子和酱油醋。这点和陕北人以及大部分北方人有很大的区别!

    it would be better to oder the noodels one by one since the noodles will be swell in the soup if you place them for a long time. The first noolde that the cute gilr first eat is HuiMaShi ( the diced noodles.), the latter is shaozi Mian (long and thin noodles)

    Here in our province in China, we also eat raw garlic but mashed raw garlic mixed with soy sauce, then put it on noodles.

But there is another province that is also famous for its noodle, its name is also Shanxi(山西), same in English but different in Chinese. I am not sure about Shenzhen, but there are many restaruants in Beijing specialized in noodle of this province.

    欢迎再次来陕西三秦大地,我是咸阳人
    你们观察、体验、分享很有意义,尤其潼关千层饼肉夹馍添了点辣子油尝试很有意思,当地确实偶有人肉夹馍也是会给里面加点油波辣子,换换口味或者用来解腻,陕西关中道西咸铜和西府宝鸡市一般多吃的是白吉饼肉夹馍或者烧饼肉夹馍(当然也有荷叶饼肉夹馍)
    另,生吃蒜就面直接成了当地人最面食生活化特殊风俗的体验
    臊子面+西红柿鸡蛋烩麻食+𰻝𰻝面+老潼关肉夹馍+就蒜吃行为
    算是关中道最主流主食的近一半,另一半可能是油泼棍棍面/扯面+凉皮/擀面皮+炒拉条子+牛/羊肉泡馍(机制馍丁或者手撕馍豆)
    希望体验过的陕西行愉快

    Roger Moore sounds like 肉夾饃 but it is better to be spoken by Children with accurate Chinese pronunciation, 肉夾饃
