As someone who has to pay to park just to do my job, I’m jealous of how many freaking pull tabs you must have! Soda can pull tabs register as either quarters or dimes in the parking meters where I live! Some businesses even collect them for their customers. You might be able to pull the simcard from that phone and put it into another phone, then you might be able to find the owner's number. That's how man+river does it.
pop the sim out & put it into another phone thats unlocked/accessible to you. Then you can get the phone # off of the sim & try to call that number to return the phone
A valuable piece of advice I received and want to give to Ivana is to wear UV-protective clothing when you go out prospecting. Skin cancer is not something to take lightly. Nice Video and nice finds.

Think in a more global way. The issue of attire is real - compare bikinis and burkas, everything in between. As an old woman, I know she can protect her skin better than that but won't find out until she is old and nobody wants to look at her anymore!

Tell her that with the Deus 2, she can save two programs side-by-side. When using a high frequency program like Beach Sensitive, save the low frequency Deep High Conductor program next to it. For me, iron containing bottle caps tend to come in mid 60s and mid 70s with the high frequency program, and can sound really good. So, on those numbers I switch to DHC. If the VDI changes by around 10, it’s an iron bottle cap. Most iron containing objects with significantly change VDI from high to low frequency programs.
Great find. I guess there are ways to find the owner. You can use the info from the bluetooth with another phone, you can get the ip number and maybe reach to apple, you can call 911 and ask what is the phone number you are calling from and find info by that track…. But that might to too much trouble. Or simply wait for it to ring, hopefully.
The owner had disconnected the service from the phone. I couldn't even access Siri to see if I could make a call or retrieve the number. Some people had mentioned removing the Sim card, but I don't have another phone to put it in to see if it can read it.

QUESTIONS please......i own the manticore and the D2; prefer the D2 for sure in most circumstances but have not done the beach yet....will be in the outer banks for 10 days for labor day/etc and was curious as to the settings you use on both machines for typical wet sand//water type searching...which modes and typical settings within those modes. for a experienced land hunter but def a neophyte in the ocean!!!! THX IN ADVANCE!!!
For the Manticore, I use a slightly modified surf and seawater program. The settings won't be the same for you up there, but the default program should work well. On the D2, I use a modified Beach program. Again, it'll behave slightly different. The sensitivity defaults on the D2 are way too high for the conditions down here. I had to turn it down until the machine was just slightly unstable.
Love your vids. I've seen you on the beach once a while back as we were on business near Tampa /. St Pete i think. Anyway I just got a new Manticore. Been doing a lot of reading about it. Best advice for me for relic hunting. ??? ohh, Ivana is a keeper and better than any ring. lol. Good luck.
