Conan 3.0 attributes, how to spend your points and how to corrupt them! Don't see corruption in your attribute tree? That's cuz its not there until you do these steps to allow you to corrupt each attribute that can be corrupted. Its all a bit confusing, but Im here to be your guide for the changes in Conan 3.0! Authority- irritate is working as intended. You may think your thrall and the enemy are just having a stare down but the reality is your thrall is going through a list of mom jokes until they find the right one to irritate the enemy. You're welcome 😉😂

7:44 but when you corrupt attributes, you LOSE those perks. So you might gain 100 heath from the Robust perk, but you'll lose that perk when you put corruption at 15 in Vitality.
You are correct, if you corrupt an attribute, you lose that attributes perks as you replace them with corrupted perks. What I was trying to point out is that if you are running a corrupted build, corrupting other attributes, beside vitality, the uncorrupted vitality perks can help offset the HP and Stam you lose when say, you totally corrupt Authority or Strength. I should have been more clear on that point. Good catch! :)

Ive had fun playing on the testlive, so I think people will find this content something to come back and play (or play for the first time) Funcom kinda dropped the ball on getting info to the mod developers, which is a bummer, and I havent figured out how to get into the store for the battle pass, but I suppose that will all get sorted in time. Commanding presence is way stronger than you think. I tested it extensively and it makes a big difference. If your thralls lose less health in battle they won't need as much healing to start off with after a battle.
I tried it out a lot in the test live before full release. Maybe I should go back and take a look to see if its been "remastered" on the current version.

from what i'm seeing, if you are going to be going to knock out thralls, having your strength corrupted to 19 (Not 20) is pretty good. just don't fully corrupt the strength tree because you will not only damage your thrall you are trying to knock out for increasing your work force of for sacrafices, but also you can technically accidentally hurt yourself with the final corrupted perk if there are no enemies in the immediate area of effect right next to you, so using a bow is pretty risky.
Agreed, I've tried lots of combinations and haven't really found that totally corrupting ANY tree was good for my play style. Others may disagree, and I wouldn't ever say that my play style is the only one out there. 🙂

So I would like to ask for the 1st corrupted perk in Authority:
"Frenzy
... frenzied followers deal 3% increased damage for each corrupted Authority attribute"
My understanding would be that this is per point spent corrupting Authority, not the number of unlocked corrupted perks in Authority.
With 20 points corrupted Authority this would then end up as +60% increased damage for followers.
Think that's an additive increase, not a total multiplier.
Another question would be how long Frenzy state lasts.

My understanding is that Frenzy adds 3% per attribute, not per point corrupted. So the best you will get 15%, not 60+. However, if you have 3 zombies following you (or 4 if you have war party) then that's per follower, so you can chew through most anything with some high damage Zs. I know they have nerfed them significantly, but take a look at my vids featuring The Supremez ( Tinkle, Winkle and Dot, as they were named by the audience). As for how long it lasts? The Wiki steas that it last for 10 secs AFTER the player inflicts initial damage. Hope that helps you out...🙂

Nice vid. I am digging the changes so far, going to go for a heavy strength, vitality, expertise build and see how that shakes out. Any thoughts of what design space is left for corrupted agility, grit and expertise?
I could see that being something that could be corrupted.. but currently if you run the right build, you can be nearly invincible with the current options. Id speculate that they may either 1) be watching to see how the current set up gets used (or exploited) to add much more, or 2) save those attributes as something to flesh out in their next season.
That build is trash run agility with expertise is a must tbh and vital with everything.
@@yomatawai7648 Go with what works for you, I think there are a lot of new power builds that will come from the new way they've done attributes and corruption
@@yomatawai7648 Well, since release, I tried several builds with both a strength and agility focuses. I found, with minimum effort to optimize, that the agility hit slightly harder, but the strength was very close to it while being alot more flexible with the larger carry weight and wider weapon options. For the non super min maxy player, I d say either direction is very valid boss.
Quick Footed is more important, you should experience how much speed it gives you, you can even dodge around enemies just by strafing, you dont even need to roll with that perk. Not to mention how much traveling time it saves overall.
Agility > Strength

I think the biggest issue with being corrupted is the stamina reduction not the health reduction personally
Yeah, that weighs on you fast with everything... even just running around. But they have buffed some of the potions and food to offset it. Im hoping to get vids out soon on good ways to get your stam back up.. even if temporarily.
@@OldGamerzNeverDie yeah honestly it has been driving me nuts, still fairly early on in my server and now im stuck with max corruption because i cant find a dancer
@@alixbarwick7992 did you spend points on corruption in your attributes? If you did, the only way to cleanse is to do I mind wipe, with some of the potions. Easiest one to get is yellow lotus potion, but it wipes everything, attributes and skills
@@OldGamerzNeverDie yeah i know how to wipe them but even after you wipe them you keep the lowered health and stuff so i might as well keep them for now
If you reset your attributes to lose the "Perma corruption" after spending a perk, you will heal and regen stam back to normal over time with food and potions. Or you can just die and when you respawn you can get back to full strength. Btw.. if not sure if everyone knows, but if you go to the menu screen and click on "character" then "remove bracelet" it will kill you character where you stand... so its a good way to die without getting your armor wrecked if you want to respawn at your bed/bedroll (you do not bring your stuff with you, unless the server has a mod that allows it) but if you have the recovery spell, you can pull your corpse to your bed and recover your stuff.

Commanding presence is a great perk. My thralls health rarely drops. Put food on them and they get that health regeneration between fights anyway. Light strikes from a katana is fast and keeps constant health going to your thralls.
Hmm.. I'll have to give that strat a try.. I usually use an axe.. so maybe thats my issue.
@@OldGamerzNeverDie saw a guy use two normal shalebacks against the red dragon. Apparently the tick from acid and poison damage work based on his video. And I have done no testing myself.
So take it with a grain of salt I guess.
There are some wild builds and follower combos that can make things that didnt used to be possible, much easier to accomplish. Im sure we will see some interesting stuff with this new update...even before mods make more changes :) Love the new vibe of experimentation out there!
There's also a crazy build where you combine skelos cult master plus tears of gullah potion ( I think that's the name) and some food to get high follower damage increases.

Good question, and one a lot of people have asked. When you corrupt a steop in a tree, that perk is REPLACED with the corrupted version of the pekr. For me.. as an example, I usually coorrupt the first perk in the Authority tree to traid the "taunt" for Frenzy... seems to work better for me. And I leave the rest of the Auth tree uncorrupted.

Corrupted Authority seems really fun. I need to test out the last Demon Lord perk before deciding if I want to fully corrupt that tree
Its worth a look see. Only problem I had with that one was that it took away my Fast Learning, which I use to boost my follower's health, and replaced it with a uncontrolled demon that my follower often attacked as an enemy. But that was in test live.. so give it a shot and see if its better now., and let me know how it goes! Would love to hear your opinion!
Demon Lord is terrible. The demons consistently miss the target, and get in the way (especially when playing with friends). The last perk to share your stats with your thrall is leaps and bounds better.

Depends on the demon you randomly summon and how frequently they spawn. The lowly troll that normally shows up misses a lot but shows up frequently and I had 6 spawn while I was fighting red mother. The white skeletal demon that occasionally summons doesn't miss very often it's just a rarer spawn
15 corrupted points in Authority, and three zombies. All the bonuses from minions and damage spread to minions, while keeping the minion buff from the 20 Authority buff for buffed minions. Thats my corruption build and I basically just point my horde at an enemy and wait.
The first 14 minutes of this video contain very valuable information about corruption. Thank you for that, I've shared this video with others! :) [Why the last 5 minutes are spent talking about his personal favorite attributes, which have NO corrupted points at all.... I dunno. Feels out of place].

Irritate definitely works. Sometimes too well. To the point where my thrall is being killed, and i can't save them because i can't get the mob to stop attacking them and attack me instead.
The other peek that heals thralls when you do damage also works well. Once i got that perk, the irritate perk became much more useful because i could keep my thrall alive by attacking the enemy.

Ya can turn off irritate in the thrall's behavior menu if it bothers you that much. Personally I find it useful on a well equipped thrall.
Good armour and decent healing food helps a lot.

@@OldGamerzNeverDie Ya can also force feed them any potions in their inventory. Not any good in the middle of a fight but ya can buff them before a run or heal in between fights.

If you corrupt a stat and get new corrupted perks on your character, Do you still keep the non corrupted perks you got from putting points in that stat?
Good question, and no, sadly, the corrupted perks replace the uncorrupted ones. However, you do not have to corrupt a whole tree, for example you could corrupt just the first perk in Authority and not go any further, so you keep the other uncorrupted perks. Makes for a mix and match build that some people like.

Thanks for the compliment and the question. For starters, and likely for a while, Im actually just running a medium vanilla armor set. Decent protection and each item gives me +15 in weight (which I need since I've never seen an item in a game I didnt want to pick up and pop in my satchel). The stat boosts are very different and you should look for an armor set that boosts your play style (buff to health, light weapon damage, heavy weapon damage, etc) The attributes dont do that for you anymore for sure! Potions and food helps too.. but you'll have to do some experiments.. Oh.. and btw.. POTIONS DO NOT STACK anymore when taken together. Food and potion buffs DO still stack

Edit: question when you take a corrupted perk does it replace the base perk you picked earlier? Or do you wind up with 8 perks from a fully corrupted tree?

Corrupt builds are ok till you come across a base with dancers in the honey combed walls
Not sure I follow, do you mean corrupted points or using corrupted armor. Dancers don't remove the 50% corruption you get from corrupting attributes

@everyone Question do you keep the uncounted perks if you corrupt the whole skill line or are the regular skill totally gone once you corrupt the tree? Trying to figure this out?
As you corrupt an attribute, you change to the uncorrupted benefit into the corrupted one. You don't keep both benefits. Each five point corrupted changes that perk while the others stay uncorrupted. As an example you can corrupt the first point in the Authority tree and it will change to Frenzy, while leaving the rest of the tree uncorrupted, so that you could maintain the uncorrupted War Party perk at the top of that tree.
Not sure if it has been asked but do heavy blows also work on heavy attacks with bows

Any chance you could do a video showcasing the actual gameplay with corrupted perks? No one has done it yet and I don't know if it's worth it to lose glutton for punishment. They all just do what you did here. Shown the perks but haven't put them into practice.

It's effect is during combat, they'll pull aggro if you're doing big damage

If u get rid of ur corruption completely what happens to your corrupted perks? Do the go back to normal or do u end up having no perks until I corrupt urself again?
Once you start corrupting your perks, you cant get rid of that corruption.. it stays on you no matter what. The only way to get rid of it is to totally reset your attributes. If you havent gotten any special scrolls from the map room in the Unnamed City or used fragments to increase your knowledge points, the easiest way to do a reset is to make and use a Yellow Lotus potion (takes a few yellow lotus.. and they grow all along the river banks in the newbie area) Yellow Lotus Potion ALSO RESETS ALL of your KNOWLEDGE. and currently there is a bug that even resets knowledge from scrolls in the map room... so I wouldnt do a reset until they correct that as you may lose things you cant get back without a lot of work. Once you reset your attributes, you will need to reselect your build... so you will start from a clean slate of no benefits and build the attribute tree back up.
Irritate does work my thrall keeps agro like a champ now. Goes well with backstab.
Interesting.. might have been just a glitch in testlive. I still have my follower seem to ignore some mobs... how do you have your behavior set, to "guard me" or "aggro to all"? Maybe thats the issue.. I have mine set to guard me.

Does followers mean zombies only or can they be any thrall following,??
For me, I use the term followers for tames, thralls and zombies, although you can't always mix and match under the War Party Perk

I’ve been wondering too. Why does the Abyssal Steed turn on me after so long? Is there a way to prevent that? And this video is very helpful. Thank you heaps!!!! I miss playing on PC though… lol
Pretty much all of the Abyssal stuff is temporary. You can extend the armor and weapons by killing enemies, but the mounts and the demons will eventually turn on you and your pets/thralls or sometimes just disappear. Never leave important stuff in their inventory. Zombies seem immune to this, but will also just "disappear" if you don't keep food on them.
@@OldGamerzNeverDie Interesting… I’ll have to keep that in mind too then. That Abyssal Demon is strong though. I seen him taking on 3 skull elites. I can see why they are temporary lol.
What exactly do your thralls no longer receive from your stats, when you choose War Party (20 authority perk).. they still keep the out of combat regen.. what do they lose?
Something I'll need to science.. I know that they do not get the huge health/perk boost that they get from the other perk (sorry.. a bit brain dead after the 12 hr stream last night). I plan on doing a vid on builds to support your thralls but may take a few days.
@@OldGamerzNeverDie I'm currently running max vitality/authority/encumbered. Using 2 berserker thralls in strength gear/str weapons, and im wearing witch doctor mask, turanian chest/legs, gloves of jhil, zamorian thief boots(i need to find different boots to match the rest of the build), but also swapping diseased knives and feroxic daggers to stack DoTs, and shooting healing arrows at the thralls if they need it. It's not perfect, but I feel invincible, which is nice.. I might swap out some vitality for a perk in grit.. can always use better stamina regen. I don't plan on using corrupted perks because I can't stand having corruption stealing my hp/Stam. Lol
Did you do any tests to find out percentages and how useful those perks are? or are you just good at reading?
I have tried a lot of the perks during the testlive, so yes, Ive done quite a bit of play as well as some research. Everyone has their own paly style, so Id say to anyone, experiment with different builds and find what suits you and your play style the best.
Makes sense, I just found out some perks are really underwhelming even though they sound great. The percentages are really low
@@sieuzice Yeah.. and even some of the spells are pretty meh compared to the description... wall of fire looks like a lava slug that just sits there. Best spells Ive seen are Recover Corpse, Ice Bridge, and Invis imo.
question i cant find it any where yet, how do you get rid of curroption points?
If you have spent points corrupting an attribute, the only way to get rid of it is to reset your attributes. Yellow Lotus potion is probably the easiest way, but it wipes your attributes and your skills. Then you have to pick them again. You cant run ANY corrupted points on your attributes and not be half corrupted all the time.
Corrupted Strength Perk, Scourge: What is the actual # amount of additional dmg per corrupted point?
Corrupted Vitality Perk, Grotesque Excrescence: I have heard on two(2) other videos that it regens faster than normal Fierce Vitality. Is this true?
I'll have to test it out, since I dont typically run a corrupted build. Let me see what I can figure out and I'll get back to you.. or, if others know the answer, feel free to chime in and we'll all learn something new :)
if you wanted to redo your perks after corruption are you still able to talk a beastial potion to respec?
Yes, and Ive actually had that drop on some one skull boss kills, so theres a shot at just respec-ing your attributes without running the Jhebbal Sag dungeon, which I intend to run tonight on stream, so wish me luck! LOL

It does, but it respects knowledge points too and currently is broken as it will also wipe any scrolls you have learned or shards you have used to increase your knowledge points. Its a known issue, but still being worked.. Id stay away from Yellow Lotus pots if you have any of those situations going on til they get that fixed.
Update needs more tuning but so far i like it. The fact people cant get carried by followers makes it easier and better. The toxic players on my server have more tribe members than mine and bully newer players all the time we fought them for months and it was hard to win cause its always 3vs7 but we are able to 1v2 and sometimes 1v3 but they also have thralls so its basically 3vs14 cause we didnt use our thralls or they would just gang up on it and everytime we got remotely hit by one of their thralls we basically just died.
With this update thralls are not remotely as scary and we have slapped them constantly in the past 2 days they havent killed us once. It certainly shows how bad players are without their thralls doing all the work now its a bit more skilled based. Even is nice that now if you wanna be immune to poison you have to sac like 30% of your hp bar for it. Which is fair
Yeah.. I really do like the way they changed things up.. I agree, its more skill and strategy based now. There are still some OP builds, but you have to sacrifice some things to be able to do it. Being a glass cannon is only good in some situations. LOL
If you play SP, it is really annoying that thralls die so easily now
After corrupting your attributes fully. Can you heal your curruption but maintain the corrupted perks? Or do you always have to stay fully corrupted?
Once you spend points in corruption, you stay corrupted and the only "cleanse" is to reset your attributes. That's why I recommend getting a cursed item that can corrupt you if you want to cast spells, get rid of that corruption afterwards with an entertainer, cleansing brew or eating a heart of a hero. The "blessed" items didn't clear any corruption in the test live, I may try that out in tonight's stream
People think glutton for punishment is way better than it actually is.
Depends on your build and play style. But, at the end of the day all of the new perk system comes down to that. I've tried a few and about the only ones I keep coming back to are Stamina perks and Thrall perks.
When you corrupt a perk, does it remove that perk and you only receive the bonus from the new corrupted perk? Or do you get access to both?
The way he talks about it i think it does remove the old perk but im not sure just off of this video
The uncorrupted perk gets replaced by the corrupted perk, from what Ive seen so far. If its a perk in Strength or Expertise, you do still keep the buff on encumbrance though. I'll keep sciencing it as the full release rolls out and see how it all plays out.

Corrupted replaces the old perk, its a 3rd choice. An example is the Authority line. At 20 you can have 2 thralls as a choice and with corrupted many are just putting 19/20 including me. As it allows you to keep the 2 thralls and the old perks get replaced so instead Im being healed and my damage is split with them. They no longer get healed from the perk at 10 because it corrupted. Hope that better explains it
So if you corrupt the first level of say strength, do you still keep the 2,3,4 perks from the non corrupted line? Or do you lose every perk from the non corrupted line once you corrupt the first level?

Yeah.. its definitely a style of play if you want to go for it.. you give up some health and stam, but get some interesting perks instead. I know Dhax (on the server where I go to just relax and play) has an all corrupt build and he has a pretty powerful set up.
The first Authority perk is for mounts.
Interesting, Im still not seeing much in the way of a benefit, so I'm likely gonna corrupt that one and see if having Frenzy will pack more punch :)

Yes, you can corrupt Strength, Vitality, and Authority. You just have to spend your original non-corrupted points in those trees, then get heavily corrupted and have soul essence enough to spend corrupting the tree you want.
how do you even gain corruption xp??? is it soul essence? where do you get soul essence?
You do have to spend Soul Essence to corrupt your Attributes. You get them in the Sacrifical Stone which is the second crafting table you get in Sorcery. Let me know if you cant find it.. or drop in the discord and people there will be happy to help you get it sorted :)

No, when you corrupt your perk, you get a different perk, but it doesnt stack onto the old perk

ok thx for this video and sorry for the long comment i sorta got into it. so the corrupted points replace the original perk then??? some of this stuff seems plain stupid to me like sure i can see the first strenth one being usefull IF i grab more points in it but i won't. See i'm running wiht a shield and as far as i know i can't kick with my shield up i'l just block. Sooooo why the flying F would i want mule kick then? Still running max strenth tho since i'm yimr and got that full armor set. if it was not for that silly kick that i'd be hard pressed to even tremember that i have then i could see myself going for wrack and keep my crushing swings. The corrupted Vitality got the exact problem for me. Sure more regen the more currupted vitality i got cool but loosing my fast healer is OUT of the question for me. Authority is a diffirent beast to me tho. See i have not once put a single point in authrity since i recently started playing again. I HATE Irritate since i'm the mellee guy i have my thralls as ranged combat meaning if they start irritating the enemy to attack them then they don't get to shooting like... why would i want this. So latley for my strenth build where i more or less only do any real combat in groups and only ever PVE.. i mean my build is not by any means geared towards full combat. But anyway i could see me running authrity IF i would corrupt it and Flesh bond is actually a cool thing to have but... i'm the tank and i got a great wolf that is strong and all but no i don't feel like deflecting damage over to him at all... now if i had a great bear tho sure and my archer does not take much damage so there is room there i suppose. Devour looks amazing but that demon lord is a no thx. But as my build looks now i don't have any spre points to speak of for authority.
LOL, yep, that was a mouthful. The things you cover are exactly why I don't run a corrupted build. So far irritate just doesn't work for me, I have my thralls on Guard Me, so they don't get into the fray unless I order them in. On the server I actually play on, O have a basic "jack of all trades" build with authority maxed with fast learner as the final perk, then have 3 zombie that I use as thralls which pretty much tear thru anything I've sent em after

Is there anything stopping you getting 20 corrupted vit and strength?
You will end up with 60 points to spend on attributes when you are fully leveled (Lvl 60) It takes 20 points to fully level an attribute, so technically, you could fully level and corrupt 3 attributes if you wanted to. You just need to have enough Soul Essences to do it once you have leveled the attribute
If they replace the old talons, then the authority tree got heavily nerved because of the fifth point not having well trained so you’re a thrall is nerfed back to the original

Yep, pretty much, but you get to spawn demons randomly that are uncontrolled and attack your thralls... So there's that LOL
Btw, I do NOT recommend corrupting that last perk in authority, but that's just me

The game forces you to now fight with your thrall and makes you more resilient. I go 10 points into corruption in authority sharing 50% of damage received with my thralls but only lose 20% of health and stamina. Plus getting a 30% thrall damage bonus.

@@OldGamerzNeverDie already have a new build 15 points str and 15 corruption points. Maxed authority with war party and 19points corruption. Maxed grit with I think Steel thewed. And 5 expertise for some carry weight. This build can take out the arena champion like it was nothing and that is without thralls.. With Thralls it is even easier...mule kick just downs her and your Thralls can go to town on her. Boss battles don't last long.

Does getting 15 corrupted vitality get rid of the 100 extra hp?
I'll test that out in the stream tonight.. gonna be running different scenarios and set ups to make sure how things changed or didnt from Testlive to full release.
Is it worth it corrupting the last vitality perk?
It depends on your play style and what kind of server you play on. If you are playing on a PvE server or doing a solo play thru, I dont see a huge benefit. The "corruption" you expell doesnt seem to do much to NPCs in my experience (but I havent run a corrupted build since early in 3.0 launch). If you are playing PvP or PvE-C then the corrupted damage you deal may be the extra added oomph against other players. For me though, I find it hard to give up Glutton for Punishment.
The problem with this thing I'm having is that after I've corrupted the attributes, the corruption I gain stacks and continue reducing my HP bar (not stamina though). I'm about at 80% right now. Is it a bug or they want you resetting your attributes ones in a while, I don't know but it's becoming a headache.
That sounds like a bug. Im seeing on Reddit that there are a lot of issues with console that are making the corruption either continue to stack, go straight to 50% debt for health and stam one only 5 points are spent, and sometimes not gaining any corruption at all. Are you playing on console or PC? There are also several reports on Steam where pc players have had issues with the corruption improperly stacking or cleansing on official servers. Let me know what you are playing on and I'll see what I can science out for you.

There's an other funny thing. Part of the mountain started disappearing and reappearing after the update, so I just covered it with a wall, away from my sight.😅 Meshes are a funny thing in this game...
LOL.. yes, Ive seen a few meshes shimmer or flicker on Savage Wilds since the last update was well. Sometimes I think Funcom devs just break stuff to give themselves something to do over the cold winter months ahead. As for the mod conflict, I try to make sure that I only use mods that have had updates after Sept 1 AoS launch. Thats why I waited to try Savage Wilds. So happy to hear that Age of Calamitous has now updated... will be doing a play thru with that later this year.

Also, depending on what you choose not corrupted, has a baring on what you get when you do corrupt that trait bar, in other words, they're not the same depending on what you pick prior to corruption, and i think that may include traits that don't seem to corrupt, but will if you pick a certain path in the others eh
Are you playing on pc or console? I know there have been some glitches on console where people can spend their attribute points in other things (like agility) that are closed off to everyone else. Even had one person who's 6 year old son did something and gave him 400 attribute points to spend on his X box X.. but it was a bug and when he went to use them it wiped em out.

Unfortunately, I doubt it will happen. Im actually kind of afraid of what will come of Conan when DUNE launches... my bet is that Funcom is devoting a heck of a lot of resources in that direction these days.. just my opinion.

do NPC's take corrupted damage when you get hit or is that pvp only?
Hmmmm good question, I"ll have to take some human followers down to the Xath temple and get them to fight the spider there and see. Ive been running with 3 zombies and they dont take corruption at all, since.. well.. theyre zombies... so problem solved :)
But what about enemy NPC's
Since several of the corrupted powers involve AOE corruption attacks which state that they impact enemies that can be negatively impacted by corruption, it would stand to reason that things like human NPCs, or non-corrupted animals would be damaged by corruption. I'll do come checking this week on my test server to see what kind of impact corrupted damage does to mobs. I'll let you know what I find out.

@@DarkDo7 After doing some testing, and getting some experiences from my buddy Dhax who runs the Conan server I play on, as well as a fully corrupted build, there is a "slight" bit of damage corruption gives to npcs not immune to it, but it's biggest impact is in pvp

Lots of ways to get corrupted, go stand around an obelisk, cast some spells, fight corrupted creatures. If you have the armor, I was pointing out that now is a good time to dig it out of your vault and use it.
How many perks can u have maxed corrupted at once?
Yet get a grand total of 60 points to spend on attributes (1 per level). You have to spend those in the regular perk tree, and then you can corrupt the points you've spent. Not all categories can be corrupted, and you'll need Soul Essences and have heavy corruption to even see the purple + sign
If you spec this way you can have 3 perks corrupted fully but it would only give you strength vit and authority. Which means you wouldn't have any points in agility, expertise, or grit

I had all but 2 dlcs on last update before yesterday. Am I going to lose them?
Not sure what platform you are playing on, but if you bought the dlc, this update does not cancel them out. Look to where you bought them (For me, I bought mine on Steam, and they are all in my library). I have all the dlc's and they all are working fine on my server.

The sinners refuge bug where all exiles disappear and get replaced with one single spider, or the undead dragon teleporting in the middle of my base where all my t4 crafters are and looping its spin attack was infuriating. Once you corrupt a perk (in your case you are asking about Vitality) you lose the first perk string as you corrupt that perk point. For example, the first per in Vitality is Fierce Vitality, if you corrumpt up to that point, it replaces Fierce Vitality with Grotesque Excrescence, which is similar in that both give you passive health gain, but they are scaled differently. Other perks can be very different once corrupted.
Irritate works cause I faught Rockslide with my thralls & they were bouncing his attention as I sat back & potshotted him with a bow & healing my team it only works AFTER you enguage a target though. also who the heck does not play with Better thralls & thralls level to 100 mods?
LOL, we took off all our mods for the update, since I was certain mod devs would not have time to update them before 3.0 released. Turned out I was right as many servers were crashing because mods wouldn't load (not the mod devs fault, Funcom dropped the ball) I'm still not getting must aggro pull to my thralls, maybe because I can't resist jumping into the fray
Im level 60 but only have 59 attribute points to spend. In this vid i see 60 attributes. Why is that?
Unfortunately, you're not the first person I've heard this from, are you on PC or console. I believe the others I've heard having this issue were on Xbox.

Still a lot of issues on console, not sure about officials on PC, but our server has been fine. Its getting to be the norm anymore that big updates or game launches tend to crash and burn.. its a dang shame.
Do either of you happen to know if they have fixed the getting stuck inside bigger enemies/amimals while fighting them? Like rhinos and those rock monster things you can mine after killing them? Biggest reason I stopped playing, its been a while and was on xbox.. it happened all the time and could not do anything else than wait for death or log out when it happened..
Good an bad news on that... it doesnt happen as often.. and usually you can still swing (vs just stuck and immobile) but it does still happen.

1st perk in authority is easier to see when your fighting and your follower is a mount, the enemies will stop fighting you and go after them, went into a large camp and there were more enemies on my mount then me.

Yeah.. honestly the "sorcery" aspect was kind of a non starter for me too, which is why I went over my "uncorrupted build" at the end. About the only spells I use are the recover corpse, and zombies, which you dont have to be corrupted to use. I just keep a dancer by my summoning stone and grave. Hopefully the next "age" will have something a bit more helpful.

Plenty of magical sorcery style games available that dont corrupt or force some kind of trade off, I'll still keep playing but just like Ark it will get deleted one day due to tiny tiny details that could be fixed or just added as options to those renting servers etc.

Yes, Ive tested all the decision tree perks and no matter what you pick for any of the attributes, when you corrupt to that point, you get the same corrupted perk.

I dont have Xbox or gamepass, so I cant say for certain, but Funcom got the game certified on both Xbox and Playstation before announcing the 9/1 start date, in order to launch on all platforms at once. The "free week" of play for X box is next week, while the "free week" for pc is this week (Im assuming to manage server loads, but who knows)
