Your videos have helped me immensely in improving my solo game. Now, I've recently joined two other players as our server heats up. I was raided by a two man team last Friday, but my new found friends and I hit them two nights ago, cored every base we could find of theirs and were fat with loot. The plot twists though. A few days ago one of my clan mates killed a guy who was scouting our pyramid, thinking the scout was from the group we were looking for, but dude was from another clan altogether. That clan hit our pyramid last night with a Set token and we lost most of our loot. Fortunately, the god drop broke all of the chests and a vault on the inside but the corridor doors were all still up. All of the loot from our raid the previous night had de-spawned before the new threat could make it inside. Only two of us were online to defend and we were quickly overrun by a four man group with thralls. We retreated to a safe spot to lick our wounds with a handful of supplies and tools. Now, our backs are against the wall but we still have cards on the table, building a new base, restocking kits and all the goodies we'll need to take on the 4 man clan that blindsided us.
I have no idea what this game truly is, never played it, and yet I’ve watched nearly all of your videos on the channel… your voice and the smooth jazz make for such nice chill videos! Thanks for the content 🙏

Hi everyone! Just wanted to inform any new players/returning players that most of the vendors have been removed recently with the latest update (9/21/23) to the game. There is only one vendor left that you can buy from using the blood crystals. He sells you alchemical base, demon blood, gold, silver, and obulus. It's nowhere near as good as before, but at least you can use the alchemical base to craft some decent armor and the demon blood to make some dragonpowder. I'm currently working on a new video that will show my new way of progressing in early game.
Wow. You're on the server I was most recently playing. I let the base decay b/c of other games but as soon as you used the first map room at Skulker's I knew where you were. You picked a good one. We always had some PvP during raid hours. Couple of Brazilians were coming on every day to tear up Sinkhole. Can't understand them but they let me loot my body after the fights.

You must have the best luck ever to not only run a quite substantial dungeon to get all those recipes but also to have farmed your crystals and moved your base without coming into contact with anyone on a populated server id be buying a lottery ticket if i were you lol top teir content
I’ve been playing this game all wrong. Thank you for posting this video. I was getting bored building bases and not understanding how to upgrade my weapons/armor. I get stuck building bases and capturing thralls.
Great vids man, keep it up. I personally would take rolling thrust over that extra grit, the free swing after the roll would give you a much better chance fighting the dagger boys. I’ll have to come find ya so we can get some fights in again. Haven’t seen ya since 1530.
Thank you bro. :) I think for the Age of War update I’ll definitely be switching over to Rolling Thrust to not waste any stamina when doing heavy attacks since heavy attack will be costly.

I had the same strategy of farming the blood Rocknoses when trying out Age of War on a test server. The reason was that I hardly get any rock ore ore with a stone or iron pick (6-8 stones per hit). I also only get 6 blood crystals for each Rocknoses with an iron pick. Four of them where however enough to trade for a black blood pick. The strategy works as a way to start, it’s just more grindy. The only problem is that it’s easy to loose the pick to other players and thats gonna hurt. You’ll be right back hunting for Rocknoses…
If possible, it’s always best to start either really early in the morning or really late at night when the server has the lowest population. That way, you’ll have fewer people to worry about when you’re getting that fresh start.
just found one of those. They had a delve bench and learned recipes. They duped the eldarium. 10000s of the stuff. We took it all. Well worth the 2 weeks it took to wipe server.
I am not sure which one is more efficient method to farm obolus, you must travel far in this different locations and it takes time. In witch camps you can park next to a npc camp and knock out 3 sorcerers spawning there each givin 9-11 obolus each. You get around 30 on 1 run and it takes about max 5 min. Depends on the npc camp though, npc camp near next to ”safari” is the easiest where you get elephant hides. Merchant resides right next to it. Then you can run a little away from a camp (in real life would be about 50 meters) and they spawn immediately back in in single player. I am not sure if this is intended, it feels a little cheesy. I am not sure if this works on servers though. I can farm hundreds of obolus in about half an hour and it is a little too easy and boring. Also this way you get a lot of gold and silver and alchemical base too.

a blood crystal rocknose spawns on the ledge by teimos too btw man if u run from the top ledge of teimos to the opposite end on the left he'll pop out man cuz i know you like to use the lemurian which has also become my favorite spear because of you haha
Nice! I didn’t say it in the video, but there’s a bunch other Blood Crystal rocknoses all over the map. I just picked the convenient ones that are near Noob River on the way to Kurak. Oh yeah, the Lemurian Trident is awesome! With the Age of War, I think the Lemurian Trident will probably be downgraded cause there’s gonna be even stronger and crazier legendary spears.

@@Zelosykes There's also a bloodcrystal golem that pops up close to the dragon you killed. Next time you run over there do a quick run around and see if you can get him to pop up.
i personally preffer 15agi/20vit/5grit/20expertise for starting build, kill using bows/dagger/spear/short swords just forget feels bit better in my opinion
normally i wouldnt even put points into strength, max out your agility for the goomba and put the last 5 points into grit for the extra stam regen, both of these help alot when fully encumbered
Yeah, normally I just put 20 points in Agility, 20 Vit, and 20 Expertise. This is probably the best build for Encumbrance from what I have noticed/heard. But at the time, I really didn’t feel like using daggers, haha.
Nice man!! You’re gonna have a good time. It’s gonna be rough at first because you’re brand new… but just try to be a ninja and don’t let anyone spot you. Lots of players like to kill newbies on sight, so stay under cover at all times when you have something on you that you don’t wanna lose. Good luck and have fun on your adventure.

Good vid man, wrong pvp build tho, if you going for strength you’ll need full strength full agility and full vitality, also use pants of kurak for extra stamina, need that berserk rage and tolling thrust its a must
Im a new player and your videos helps me a lot, but idk how to get that camere thing what u use in fight. I mean when u can use the free camera. I just cant figure it out 😢
Happy to hear the videos are helping you on your journey. :) To be able to get the “free aim”, you need to go to your Gameplay settings and turn ON “Controller Style Movement.” This setting is very important for PvP so that you can have better mobility. Also, you can increase the FOV (field of view) so that you’re able to see more of what’s around you. It can take some time to get used to these new settings, but without these settings, it’ll be tough to survive against experienced players. Hope that helps!
Zelo, are you happy they removed the farmer’s encumbrance agility build? Saw they made it require two hits instead of one with an over encumbrance build to instantly kill your opponent.
Oh yeah, definitely happy about that change, haha. I had many people try and use it against me as their -main- form of combat and I never considered it an honorable way to fight against another player. Thankfully I survived the goomba era without getting killed by it. :D
I played the beta age of war update and all those traders are gone on the 21st of june.Only at mekkhamoses you can buy a blood tool from then on.The skulls become useless from the sorcerers;So your way will be the only way in the future to snowball.
@@Zelosykes The'res only one merchant though, and the item he sells is random. I think it changes every hour, so you'll either have to camp there waiting for it, or come back every hour until you get it.
How does sever transfering work? Could i take one of my old level 60s on official to other exiled land maps or siptah maps and also could i return to my server if i has a base set up
so the merchant you bought from i purchased 970 blood crystals worth of caches and didnt get a single obulus currency just curious if it still drops and maybe im extremely unlucky
So as of the latest update, a lot of the merchants were removed from the Kurak dungeon. Hello! That merchant actually got removed with the Age of War. Now you have to buy the Blood Pick at the entrance to the Kurak dungeon. The merchant's inventory rotates, so you might have to wait a bit until you can buy a Blood Pick.
A long time ago, you were able to transfer your character between Siptah and Exiled Lands. Someone on the server probably had the recipe for the Harpy daggers. There was also a nasty exploit at the time that made it so players could get Eldarium in the Exiled Lands. During this time, Siptah weapons were all over the Exiled Lands.
I Just started to run this rout for Blood Crystals and using an iron pick axe and they are only dropping like 6??? Are you on a higher drop rate server?

I have a PVE server with vanilla settings, but i don't get the vastly improved harvesting rate you showed. I only get 20-22 a hit with the blood pick. Yeah it is better then stone, but it's about the same as star metal. I wonder what server with what harvesting multiplier you where on while filming??
Hey bro, you can buy the black blood pick at the entrance to the Kurak dungeon (the place were you trade in the blood crystals). There is a merchant there that sells it, but he has other black blood items in rotation so you might have to wait a bit.
I just started this game and I’ve run the route for a few of the blood crystal rocknose… but for the life of me I dont know where that vender under the red beacon light is. I see no beacon or a dungeon by that name. Please help! Lol
Hey bro, so the red light actually got removed with the new Age of War update. The dungeon is called “Mek-kamoses’s Spire and it’s located in G7 in the map. Also, the Black Blood pick vendor near the Black Galleon has been removed as well. You’ll need to purchase the Blood Pick at the vendor located at Mek-kamoses’s Spire. His inventory rotates so you might need to come back until he finally sells it.
I have been very Craven some Conan action but what is the population like is it going to be one server of 40 people like it normally is or is it going to be multiple servers so I have a choice
Hey bro, there's a few active servers right now and I imagine the servers are going to be even more populated in a few days because Conan is about to be free for a week, so it's gonna bring in a whole new crowd of players.
There was, but most of the merchants got removed with the latest update. You can still use the blood crystals to buy some Magi cache at the Kurak dungeon and you can get some alchemical base and steelfire. I mentioned it on the pinned comment at the top of my comments that I have released a more updated “Getting Started” video if you’re interested.
The best way is still to farm Blood Crystals from rocknoses or the Kurak dungeon if you can clear it. I have heard some of the Blood Crystal rocknoses were remove, but I haven’t had a chance to check yet.

Thank you, bro! I checked out the beta for a few minutes and tried out my usual build and it still works just fine. But tbh, I’m not too excited about all the rolling that’s probably going to be happening. I feel like this old system was good cause it forced you to manage your rolls and stamina. But with the Age of War, you’ll be able to roll infinitely and I feel like that’s gonna look really goofy with everyone just rolling around all the time, haha. BUT, you never know, we all might end up liking it in the end. Just gotta adapt with the times.
Yep. The traders got removed except for the one at the Kurak dungeon. His inventory changes after a while so you might have to keep coming back until he finally sells the pick.
Hey bro, so I very rarely use Rolling Thrust because I prefer to use those extra points on Grit. The build that I use is primarily good for Solo play because it gives you a decent amount of stamina to be able to escape if needed. But with the new Age of War stamina system, it seems like most likely I will be altering my build to have Rolling Thrust. It’s gonna be an extremely good perk now that heavy attacks will cost so much stamina.

Yes. The latest update changed a lot of stuff and most of the blood crystal vendors were removed as well. I have a new series out right now that will cover a new progression route.
Lmao! There’s definitely a lot to learn, but the cool thing about Conan is that it has a newly reworked “Journey Step” system that teaches you pretty much all of the game features/mechanics. It’s a great guide for new players.
Anyone know of a good lightly modded server i can play on? Im sick of ark and just got conan a week ago. Looking for a server with additional weapons, armor, enemies, structures, qol fixes etc et . Looking for mods that dont completely change the game but maybe add a little more options, rp features, maybe make it a little more of an rpg. Any input would be awesome.
OK I liked the blood rocknose run, by far easier way to get steel. Somethings r inefficient but still not bad. Sadly u play on PC so I can't fight u but would be fun getting your stuff
Sorry for the late reply. You can adjust the zoom by adjusting the FOV (field of view) in your Settings. Also, if you want to turn like I do, you need to turn ON Controller Settings.\ Hope this helps!
LOL, I really did get it first try. :p After I traded in all my blood crystals, you can see I had 236 Obulus. Each worker thrall is 50 Obulus. After I purchased the first worker thrall (the armorer), I was left with 186 Obulus. I just make a lot of cuts in my videos to make em more fast-pace and avoid pauses where nothing is happening. :)
Hey Robin. Two things: 1) official servers have a x4 harvest rate. 2) make sure you have the Efficient Harvest pick to maximize how many resources you get from farming. Hope that helps!
Yes. You can go around and fight anyone you want and take their stuff. You can go to their base and blow it up and steal all of their loot. Clans can go to war against each other, etc. You can do pretty much whatever you want. This was just friendly sparring for practice.

Best lesson I've learned is early game get the dragon armour recipes at the sink hole.

I am not sure which one is more efficient method to farm obolus, you must travel far in this different locations and it takes time. In witch camps you can park next to a npc camp and knock out 3 sorcerers spawning there each givin 9-11 obolus each. You get around 30 on 1 run and it takes about max 5 min. Depends on the npc camp though, npc camp near next to ”safari” is the easiest where you get elephant hides. Merchant resides right next to it.
Then you can run a little away from a camp (in real life would be about 50 meters) and they spawn immediately back in in single player. I am not sure if this is intended, it feels a little cheesy. I am not sure if this works on servers though. I can farm hundreds of obolus in about half an hour and it is a little too easy and boring. Also this way you get a lot of gold and silver and alchemical base too.

a blood crystal rocknose spawns on the ledge by teimos too btw man if u run from the top ledge of teimos to the opposite end on the left he'll pop out man cuz i know you like to use the lemurian which has also become my favorite spear because of you haha
Nice! I didn’t say it in the video, but there’s a bunch other Blood Crystal rocknoses all over the map. I just picked the convenient ones that are near Noob River on the way to Kurak.
Oh yeah, the Lemurian Trident is awesome!
With the Age of War, I think the Lemurian Trident will probably be downgraded cause there’s gonna be even stronger and crazier legendary spears.

@@Zelosykes There's also a bloodcrystal golem that pops up close to the dragon you killed. Next time you run over there do a quick run around and see if you can get him to pop up.
i personally preffer 15agi/20vit/5grit/20expertise for starting build, kill using bows/dagger/spear/short swords just forget feels bit better in my opinion

LOL! Harpy daggers are a pain to deal with.
normally i wouldnt even put points into strength, max out your agility for the goomba and put the last 5 points into grit for the extra stam regen, both of these help alot when fully encumbered
Yeah, normally I just put 20 points in Agility, 20 Vit, and 20 Expertise. This is probably the best build for Encumbrance from what I have noticed/heard.
But at the time, I really didn’t feel like using daggers, haha.

Good vid man, wrong pvp build tho, if you going for strength you’ll need full strength full agility and full vitality, also use pants of kurak for extra stamina, need that berserk rage and tolling thrust its a must

To be able to get the “free aim”, you need to go to your Gameplay settings and turn ON “Controller Style Movement.” This setting is very important for PvP so that you can have better mobility.
Also, you can increase the FOV (field of view) so that you’re able to see more of what’s around you.
It can take some time to get used to these new settings, but without these settings, it’ll be tough to survive against experienced players.

Zelo, are you happy they removed the farmer’s encumbrance agility build? Saw they made it require two hits instead of one with an over encumbrance build to instantly kill your opponent.
Oh yeah, definitely happy about that change, haha.
I had many people try and use it against me as their -main- form of combat and I never considered it an honorable way to fight against another player.
Thankfully I survived the goomba era without getting killed by it. :D
I played the beta age of war update and all those traders are gone on the 21st of june.Only at mekkhamoses you can buy a blood tool from then on.The skulls become useless from the sorcerers;So your way will be the only way in the future to snowball.

@@Zelosykes The'res only one merchant though, and the item he sells is random. I think it changes every hour, so you'll either have to camp there waiting for it, or come back every hour until you get it.

How does sever transfering work? Could i take one of my old level 60s on official to other exiled land maps or siptah maps and also could i return to my server if i has a base set up

Hello! That merchant actually got removed with the Age of War.
Now you have to buy the Blood Pick at the entrance to the Kurak dungeon. The merchant's inventory rotates, so you might have to wait a bit until you can buy a Blood Pick.
Will the farming strat still be effective in a PVE server?
Yes, everything should be the same on a PvE, except there’s no danger of other players killing you and taking your farm. :)

A long time ago, you were able to transfer your character between Siptah and Exiled Lands. Someone on the server probably had the recipe for the Harpy daggers. There was also a nasty exploit at the time that made it so players could get Eldarium in the Exiled Lands. During this time, Siptah weapons were all over the Exiled Lands.
I Just started to run this rout for Blood Crystals and using an iron pick axe and they are only dropping like 6??? Are you on a higher drop rate server?

Yes. Thralls aren’t as strong anymore. Pretty useless for PvP for the most part. They do help with PvE related stuff though.
I have a PVE server with vanilla settings, but i don't get the vastly improved harvesting rate you showed. I only get 20-22 a hit with the blood pick. Yeah it is better then stone, but it's about the same as star metal. I wonder what server with what harvesting multiplier you where on while filming??
Official server harvesting rates are x4.

Hey bro, you can buy the black blood pick at the entrance to the Kurak dungeon (the place were you trade in the blood crystals). There is a merchant there that sells it, but he has other black blood items in rotation so you might have to wait a bit.
I just started this game and I’ve run the route for a few of the blood crystal rocknose… but for the life of me I dont know where that vender under the red beacon light is. I see no beacon or a dungeon by that name. Please help! Lol
Hey bro, so the red light actually got removed with the new Age of War update. The dungeon is called “Mek-kamoses’s Spire and it’s located in G7 in the map.
Also, the Black Blood pick vendor near the Black Galleon has been removed as well. You’ll need to purchase the Blood Pick at the vendor located at Mek-kamoses’s Spire. His inventory rotates so you might need to come back until he finally sells it.

There was, but most of the merchants got removed with the latest update.
You can still use the blood crystals to buy some Magi cache at the Kurak dungeon and you can get some alchemical base and steelfire.

The best way is still to farm Blood Crystals from rocknoses or the Kurak dungeon if you can clear it. I have heard some of the Blood Crystal rocknoses were remove, but I haven’t had a chance to check yet.

I checked out the beta for a few minutes and tried out my usual build and it still works just fine.
But tbh, I’m not too excited about all the rolling that’s probably going to be happening. I feel like this old system was good cause it forced you to manage your rolls and stamina. But with the Age of War, you’ll be able to roll infinitely and I feel like that’s gonna look really goofy with everyone just rolling around all the time, haha.
BUT, you never know, we all might end up liking it in the end. Just gotta adapt with the times.

Yep. The traders got removed except for the one at the Kurak dungeon. His inventory changes after a while so you might have to keep coming back until he finally sells the pick.

Hey bro, so I very rarely use Rolling Thrust because I prefer to use those extra points on Grit. The build that I use is primarily good for Solo play because it gives you a decent amount of stamina to be able to escape if needed.
But with the new Age of War stamina system, it seems like most likely I will be altering my build to have Rolling Thrust. It’s gonna be an extremely good perk now that heavy attacks will cost so much stamina.

Yes. The latest update changed a lot of stuff and most of the blood crystal vendors were removed as well. I have a new series out right now that will cover a new progression route.

Lmao! There’s definitely a lot to learn, but the cool thing about Conan is that it has a newly reworked “Journey Step” system that teaches you pretty much all of the game features/mechanics. It’s a great guide for new players.
Anyone know of a good lightly modded server i can play on? Im sick of ark and just got conan a week ago. Looking for a server with additional weapons, armor, enemies, structures, qol fixes etc et . Looking for mods that dont completely change the game but maybe add a little more options, rp features, maybe make it a little more of an rpg. Any input would be awesome.

OK I liked the blood rocknose run, by far easier way to get steel. Somethings r inefficient but still not bad. Sadly u play on PC so I can't fight u but would be fun getting your stuff
Why do you use str/enc. if you get chased down you can’t outrun anything. You have low vit so you aren’t fighting anyone either.
It was just out of preference cause I don't like to use daggers. But I should have just done for 20 Agi, 20 Vit, and 20 Expertise.

After I traded in all my blood crystals, you can see I had 236 Obulus. Each worker thrall is 50 Obulus. After I purchased the first worker thrall (the armorer), I was left with 186 Obulus.
I just make a lot of cuts in my videos to make em more fast-pace and avoid pauses where nothing is happening. :)
You get the same amount of materials when farming the lotus flowers with a pick, so just use your BBP.

Two things: 1) official servers have a x4 harvest rate. 2) make sure you have the Efficient Harvest pick to maximize how many resources you get from farming.

Yes. You can go around and fight anyone you want and take their stuff. You can go to their base and blow it up and steal all of their loot. Clans can go to war against each other, etc. You can do pretty much whatever you want.
This was just friendly sparring for practice.
