And these video’s will bring it all back to them. How great is that going to be! I don’t even know them and yet I’m proud of what they have accomplished so far.
That's awesome. Uneventful inaugural run. Tied up safe. Perfect. Some of those uppity marinas are just bloody ridiculous. I trucked a load of dock boxes to one here in B.C. once. I couldn't show up before 8am. When I started to unstrap my load they bitched because my belt winches were to noisy. I couldn't turn the corner to get to where they wanted them because I might scuff the parking lot. It took us 5 hours to unload what should have taken an hour and then they wouldn't sign for the extra time. So when I left I wound the engine up as much as I could and use the Jake brake for every gear. And because I was empty my trailer brakes unfortunately locked at the end of the driveway, but only for about 10 feet. I know, I know very unprofessional. What can I say. Lol.

I'm the guy that was on the other side of the dock for 2.5 years. Lots of people have had the unfortunate issue of having to deal with safe harbor. They are truly assholes and try to make anybody that doesn't have a "pretty" boat leave by putting pressures on them that are just stupid. You are way better off getting out of there. I loved living on my boat there and made some great lifelong friends, but the safe harbor hassles were just not worth it. They were not putting any money into the marina and I'm sure you saw the results. VERY impressive motoring all the way to the new marina without any issues. Hope that gives you confidence in your new boat. Is it Napa Marina? Great luck!
@@kentfletcher8539 Hello Kent, fun watching these two isn't it. Don't want to argue, but they were going specifically to have the boat hauled. Neither of the marinas you mentioned have that capability. I don't think any of the Vallejo marinas have that service available. I spent 3 years traveling all over the Bay and Delta. Near the end of the vid I thought I recognized the Napa River. There is a very well know diy marina just before you get to the town of Napa where many trying to save a few dollars tend to haul. This would be great for them if that's where they ended up.

Perfect time to get the soap and brushes out during a rain storm.
Welcome to California!!!!! I live in Lodi, California....Love your attitude....hang in there.
I love it and not to be glad you were kicked out of the Marina, but I sure enjoyed getting to see it on the water. You even have dinghy davits! It looks as if it will shine with just being cleaned up, I think this new adventure will be incredible!
I was totally surprised that you guys had no issues moving that and extremely happy about it, as well. I hope things go well, getting the old girl gussied back up! The possibilities are many if you guys can get her back into good condition, without paying a fortune. I'm looking forward to the process. --Jessica from Florida 🌞
Folks, it's awesome that you're back on another trawler type motorboat. I look forward to your vids on the renovation work. Cheers..
