This is the greatest video ever please upload part 2 soon as i am on the edge of my seat waiting for that beautiful orbx arrival. Please never stop doing videos and motivate yourself to keep going man i wish you were a pilot because you would be great and funny at the same time. I liked and subscribed because i think you deserve it buddy. Keep going, great videos
The jet fuel notice on the wing at 30:03 - you can squirt it in under so much pressure (50 pounds per square inch in Imperial or 3.5 bar in SI/metric - the comma's the standard decimal point in France, which is where SI is headquartered) or suck it out under so much suction (11 pounds per square inch or 0.8 bar). (Main reason we don't use the comma in the UK is that it used to be used as a thousands separator. Other countries use the full stop/period or a space (especially when writing for international readers) for that.)
Fantastic video, can't wait for part 2. And yes, in good weather a RNAV approach to Innsbruck from the west is quite common. ATC usually clears you for a VFR approach as soon as you're over the mountain ridge (by which time you've got the airport in sight). I really appreciate all the work you're putting into your videos. For my money, you're still the no. 1 flight simmer on youtube :)
Matt : " Once upon a time I printed this on my neighbors wireless printer" I am laughing just trying to imagine your neighbors reaction when for no reason they must have seen their printer printing airport codes and flight details!
Fantastic video. Great job Matt, I think you're right that it could be one of the best. Love seeing all the small details of how you set the aircraft up. I've had general good luck with sending the PFPX flightplan over without filling in ZFW and block fuel, and it does it for me. Not much difference but one step saved.
Love this video Matt! Great giving all those details! And the FSlabs is a great plane based on what I saw, in fact, this whole video is very realistic.
Some people like the sound of V8s... personally I could listen to the A320 hydraulic system sing all day XD. Amazing immersion, and the ground handling and flight model make it look totally realistic too (I've done plenty of single engine donuts in various aircraft)
Awesome video this is where my job knowledge comes in those aren't called pallets they are called ULD if you work with them which means unit loading device mostly see them on long haul flights with loads of bags your low cost carriers don't use them the bags etc are just loaded by hand
Great video. The LISTO 1R departure wouldn't be available though as there's a weight limit on it. Only regional jets and turboprops mostly, to keep the moaners under the flightpath happy!
I was on easyJet flight 8292 and we were on the easy approach but took off the opposite way a few days later. Awesome steep takeoff and climb above the mountains!
You see any video that has two or more parts you will find that part one has many more hits than any other part, why I don't know either but as you say it is what it is. Thinking about getting Ultimate Traffic Live ( I used to use UT2) now does the latest version have AI in front and in trail when on route I used to love that on UT2 which also had quite a few aircraft aircraft missing which was a pain. Thanks Matt.
@@mattdaviesWell I am on XP11, I just wanted to know for my own liveries. I shall keep on looking! Great video by the way, you always do top quality stuff.
Great video! I've been away for long enough that the cloud breakthrough was completely mind blowing. Does anyone know if AS16/ASCA can give that effect in FSX with its 2D clouds as well, or is it just a P3D thing?
Hi there Matt, another great video, so good to see the full flight videos coming back. Wondering if you could tell us where you got Mr.Meeb's presets for the P3D PTA tool from. Any chance we could get an update video of everything you have on your sim now? (PTA tool, AS16...). Thanks and looking forward to the next video.
Hey thank you for doing another video using the FSL A320, I just love that addon! At 48:15 you were wondering if you needed APU bleed to start the second engine and yesterday another RUclipsr type rated for the A320 (Blackbox711) was starting the second engine using the engine bleed. And there he needed to apply about 30% N1 to get enough pressure to start the other engine, so I don't think you could do it while taxing. On another note, I don't know what the SOPs for single engine taxi are, but do you need the yellow electric pump? Shouldn't the PTU suffice to pressurize the yellow hydraulics?

How can you flight this Fslabs on bouth scenery and have this performance? Impossible!! This is 64 bits right?
Great Video! Does anyone know which add-on or setting causes the seemingly random cabin chimes during the preflight? I never experienced them with my FSLabs but they kinda add to the immersion.
Matt I am not sure if you are aware of this but using pfpx you can select the AOC Service from the print page and it will automatically send it to the FSLabs A320
Ooohh ok, I think that Aerosim has a nicer cockpit compared to the flight sim labs anyway. But I wouldn't really know which one to choose if I wanted to get one.
Psychroptic Gaming I don't use FSX and nor do I own or have ever used either of these airbuses (using x Plane restricts me to the jar design airbus) but I think if you are newish to flight sim the aerosoft seems to be a better choice for the main reason being price. Unless your rich in that case fslabs
+Mike Nope mate... The PTU (Power Transfer Unit) is a pump situated between the Yellow Hydraulic System Reservoir and the Green Hydraulic System Reservoir. Whilst starting Engine #2, the Yellow Hydraulic System gets pressurized while the Green Hydraulic System (driven by Engine #1) remains depressurized. At this very moment, the PTU kicks in and transfers fluid from the Yellow Reservoir to the Green Reservoir in order to maintain a certain balance between the two systems (Yellow & Green). NOTE: The PTU does not have anything to do with the Blue Hydraulic System which is driven by a seperate electric pump (not connected to any sort of engine). Hope this helps :)
Heya Matt hope you are well. I couldn't help but admire the quality of your videos. Fair play. I was wandering if at all possible you might be able to make an up to date video or drop some suggestions on how us mere mortals may infact try and acheive those kids of graphics. I do understand you are running 4k and probably a rather impressive rig. But would be quite cool to see how close I could get my quality up to somewhere near your standards. Take for instance the egcc-lowi video you did. I was amazed at how good England looks. I have ftx global, vectors, lc europe and England and it looks no where near like yous. Any help or guidance would soooooo appreciated. Many thanks for now Neil brown
Why did you disconnect the tiller before doing your takeoff roll but also putting forward stick pressure? Makes no sense because you do the forward stick pressure because you want to increase the nosewheel ground contact with it to better steer the plane until 100 knots. But great Video!
The forward stick pressure is a standard departing procedure for the A320. The pilot will apply nose down pressure until 80 knots and slowly put it back to neutral till 100 knots.
Excellent video as always Matt. One question: How do you get that lovely popping sound when you click on things? Would love to have it on my PC. Thanks Jack
Hello, RUclips comments. I recently bought gsx and fly Tampa Sydney and for some reason gsx will only let me push back straight not and not left or right does anyone know how to fix this
The detailed charts on the nose gear (and other places) may partially explain why this aircraft is so rough on VAS so as to be nearly unusable without other drastic reductions. I'm not sure how you made it with GSX, Good Weather, UTL and other goodies.
I think you have to open the crossbleed valve if you want to start engine 1 with engine 2 and vice versa ;) awsome video btw learned a few things again PS.: What are your Turbulence Settings with AS16 when using the A320...i couldnt find a definitive answer on the web:/
Hello Matt....what do you use for the external views?, is it chaseplane?, any chance you do a tutorial on how to use it and setup it...thanks to your tutorial on PFPX I use it a lot...great videos!
I think ppl ignore your part 2 with Paul, cause he did it as 1:30 whole flight video, so they could watch landing there. Also can you use PFPX or something as easy with XP11? It 2017, I can't bother with VAS.
Hi there Matt, love your videos. I just had one quick question for you. How do you get your flight information on your twitch overlay. If you could answer, that would make my day. Thanks in advanced.
bestgamer11973 - have you checked this out from fslabs? It's very helpful! www.flightsimlabs.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/FSLabs_RecommendedSettings_P3D.pdf
How much does the Fslabs A320 wingflex? do they bounce when in turbulence or do the only give a little bounce and the end of the wing ? Great 👍 Video:)
Rest In Peace Matt
As usual, great job Matt. Don't change your format. This video is for us study level simmers.
Wow. This has to be one of my favourite videos on RUclips. Full stop. Learnt a lot from the planning walk through. Keep them coming. :-)

I always liked the A320... All the sounds it makes, makes it sound alive.

Yes! Another video in my Hometown. Yeah, both departures and arrivals use 23R but when it's busy the departures go over to RWY 23L.
Love the video. Both of them. My favorite of all your content. Watching these is how I learned to fly in the sim. Can't wait for the next flight.
Thanks Matt for these two videos to LOWI. Please do more of this🙏😊
this is exactly Epic Simming in HD! great video Matt!
Good to have Welcome Onboard back Matt! ORBX Innsbruck looks incredible!
By far your best video yet - thanks for taking the time to make it, can't wait for part 2.

Hello Matt, thx again and again for your great videos and thx to take time for us.
Feels great to have the good old Matt back ! Welcome Back mate, all the best for the future :) (Feeling quite apprehensive :p)
That's perfect! Thank you very much! I've waited for a long time for your return :)
definitely enjoyed this more than those stream VOD's, would love more videos like this ;)
Thanks for your time making this Matt. Great video

feels so good to have the good old "Matt here" intro back...
BTW you forgot to put "part 1" in the title
OMG what a great video :) cant wait for part 2 :) keep up the good work Matt ;) thank you thank you thank you ;)
ohh hot damn.....matt is back with the great vids
Good to see all the setup! :D
"Clouds are in the sky and doing the thing" Matt 2017
Great video. The LISTO 1R departure wouldn't be available though as there's a weight limit on it. Only regional jets and turboprops mostly, to keep the moaners under the flightpath happy!
Awesome video Matt! Literally just got back from Innsbruck last week!
You don't care
Going Pro. did you do the hard approch
It's quite a rarity seeing them fly the 08 approach
My Soft Little Pillow i think only 8 pilots are allowed to land on rw 08in lowi

This is a very specific question. But what is the font used for the registration and SELCAL code in the flight deck?

great videos matt keep up the good work
keep getting side-tracked m8, its awesome
using simbrief and import that plan it will fill up zfw too so we just need to double check no need to set in the FMC /OPTION -
love your videos matt!!

V1 Simulação The operating system is 64bit, but Prepar3d is 32bit.
I now that! My question is how can have this performance with this fslabs without vas problems
i love the innsbruke approach and matt i have a glitch with gsx it i stuck in trail mode and advice
haileddrip22024 RTFM
Thank you Matt for your Work and your upload :)
Nice edit Matt!
Kinda makes me regret getting the Aerosft version of the A320 family
These are the videos we signed up for :P
Great Video! Does anyone know which add-on or setting causes the seemingly random cabin chimes during the preflight? I never experienced them with my FSLabs but they kinda add to the immersion.
Great video Matt. I would appreciate if you would be able to do a active sky 16 settings video soon. Thanks :)
with Aiorbus we always start engine no2 first
Matt I am not sure if you are aware of this but using pfpx you can select the AOC Service from the print page and it will automatically send it to the FSLabs A320
All the boost - that's exactly what he did!
That's what I get for skipping around in the video.
Looks good- monarch aircraft are all bulk loaded though- no bins needed 😂
Do you prefer the aerosoft Airbus X pack or FS Labs?
Psychroptic Gaming FSLabs for him
Psychroptic Gaming can't really compare the two. You pay for what you get. Aerosoft is less in depth and realistic but way cheaper.
Ooohh ok, I think that Aerosim has a nicer cockpit compared to the flight sim labs anyway. But I wouldn't really know which one to choose if I wanted to get one.

45:37 What is that noise that sounds like a Dog barking?
Cole that's the PTU basically shifts hydraulic power from the APU to the engines
+Mike

Daniel Chihane oh thanks for clarifying:)
Cole Watch a video by someone called Captain Joe, his a great guy and a pilot for air berlin in Airbus a320. He explains things quite well.
YeAussieFire he definitely does
Matt I also like the landings more and when is the second part going to be released, I want to see it👍👍
Top stuff Matt!

Nope, Matt won't make part 2, he's gonna leave it like that.
Can you please do a tutorial Vid on the QWsim Avro RJ and Bae 156 aircraft please. I've got it but I don't know how to fly it :(
The Gaming Harry there are a lot of videos on it, he doesn't fly it because it isn't officially compatible with P3D
just to let you know that the listo departure, is only valid for Prop aircraft.
