hey hi i have the same printer epson 1430 and i use luster paper - can u tell me your settings to faster print? i love this design :D
Hi, when I print invitations I use the fine print setting. This is not the fastest way to print but it gives the best results.
loved it
Great!

Do you have to let them dry before touching or cutting?
You do not have to let it dry. The key is making sure you select the correct vellum for you printer. If you have an ink jet printer you must use paper compatible with ink jet printers.
Can you buy the vellum paper, save the template with my information on it and take it to staples to print and cut. I have an epson printer it works great but I'd rather have someone else do the printing and cutting because that is a lot of ink and not sure how well my printer will perform?
Yes! As long as the print shop is happy to print on vellum for you our template file can be emailed to them for reproduction. We have a copyright release we can provide if they ask whether you have permission to print the file. Have fun with the project!
I have a cannon pixma printer I don't have the books for it anymore but it can print photo paper so would it be able to print the vellum?
Hi Ashley, you don't need a special printer to print vellum. You just need to buy the vellum that is compatible with your printer. If you have a laser printer buy laser vellum, if you have an ink jet printer buy ink jet vellum. If you don't buy the right paper the ink will smear. My printer does have trouble as the vellum is so slippery. To get around this I tape a piece of regular paper to the back of the vellum. I wrap a thin piece of tape along the lead edge of the paper that is going to enter the printer first. You can find videos on how to do this on RUclips. Good luck!
What printer do you use?
I like Epson printers: www.downloadandprint.com/printers
How did you attach the vellum to the paper
Hi Karen, we did not attach the vellum to the rose background. If you would like to attach it I think punching two holes at the top through both sheets of paper and tying with a ribbon would keep with the elegant look.
What web site do you use to set up the print?
Hi Jeannie, the invitation template can be purchased at www.downloadandprint.com/ornate-vintage/ . The rose background is a free download also on our website. Check out the projects section. Thanks!
do you have the rose temple in your website ?
Hi Alejandra. Yes we do! You can download the rose background here: www.downloadandprint.com/blog/diy-translucent-wedding-invitation-with-vintage-charm/
como se llama el papel transparente
The transparent paper is vellum: www.paperandmore.com/white-cream-vellum-paper
hi, can one apply toner foil to vellum?
Hi Bill, I've never used TRF so can't comment from experience. However, my gut feeling is it will not work. The vellum is very flimsy which is not good with TRF, and vellum is often used as a protective cover sheet going into the laminator, which makes me think the foil won't adhere to it. If anyone else can speak from experience please chime in!
what is the weight of the translucent vellum paper?
The vellum is #30. If you follow the link below select #29 vellum for the same effect: www.downloadandprint.com/vellum-paper
what kind of paper you have used for printing rose background ?
Hi Nikunj, the rose background is printed on white card stock. We recommend paper between 65 lbs and 90 lbs. Our favorite brand is Neenah Classic Crest.
