    the slope is given by ID=(-1/RS)(VGS). VGS is negative, so it will make the whole equation positive, and as we increase RS(1/RS), 1 divided by a bigger number, we will get a smaller number, so it would decrease. Since it is decreasing, it would move toward X-axis.

    Slope will decrease when Rs is increased and the Q-point will move towards the x-axis.

      @Hamid Ali Shah Slope = (-1/Rs) , if you increase Rs, you are increasing the denominator so slope value(mod) will decrease. ( In reality actual value of slope increases because there is a minus sign, and actual value is going from more negative to less negative )

      @@94D33M Darlin you're wrong. What you've said is right if the case is Vgs as positive. But you know that in JFET we're having Vgs as negative. Calculate again and let me know.
      Final answer : Slope decreases as the resistance increases.

    slope will decrease means it will tend toward xaxis or vgs and point will also tend towards vgs or x axis

    Ans: load line will move downward towards x-axis and so slope decreases...

    I think slope as a whole will increase due to the -ve sign and hence it'll move towards the y-axis..

    r= -1\(0 ~1); so r= - 1 ; so slope will move towards x-axis, and Q-point move to
    x-axis

    Angle between straight line and x axis will decrease if R increase and that's why q point deflect towards x axis

    Sir, at pinchoff voltage the drain current gets saturated to Idss, but when we substitute Vgs=Vp The drain current is becoming zero

      At pinch off voltage drain current will be nearly 0, it can't be Idss., It'll be 0.

      I took Idss/100000. But i had to do 99999 other substitutions to find out the accurate graph.

    Slope of the curve will decrease if we increase Rs. Thus the st.line will shift towards x-axis and Q-point will also shift towards x-axis.
