What an inspirational song and beautifully performed by Sister Janet Mead. I have this on a LP album which was released in 1974. It featrured her hit, "The Lord's Prayer." All of the songs are superlative. She also recorded Brother Sun, Sister Moon which is wonderful as well. I especially like the video presentation here. The sequence which zooms through the Universe as she sings "His word made the heavens, his breath liti up the stars" is very moving. God is indeed wondrous . . .
I never bought that album back in the 70's.What did the cover look like? Can you post all those songs here for us? What a delight to hear this singer who reached international fame as a singing hun in the 70's.Time must have passed me cause i dont remember this album ever came out.Was this her last album and were there others but never released from A&M Records?Thanks.
Can you tell me what album did this come from of the 70's? She was compared with the legendary voice of Judy Collins.Did A&M Records back then release her album that was scheduled to be released back then in the 70's was it never released?

Haven't head this since I bought the tape @ Woolworths 40 yrs ago. Still like it's optimism.
