I did something with the remote and is went into quiet mode which I thought was cool but idk how I did that
I had no idea that the fob could go into quiet mode from the fob. Was it set to start in quiet mode in your pony mode?

No way from the factory to do it.. but you might be able to add it in using the Forscan app

Yes! Remote starting a manual transmission could be a disaster.. especially if you left it in gear
I tried using the remote rev function as shown in the video but it just locks/unlocks the vehicle. Is there a setting within the vehicle I have to change to get this function to work? Unsure if this function is for every model or a specific model but I have the 2024 ecoboost premium fastback.
You need to have Active Valve Exhaust and the 10 speed in your Mustang to use it... If you have active valve the car does have to be started for a bit to warm up before the rev will actually work
@@CarsWithSteve Thx for the reply. Asked a sales person at the dealership and they informed me it was the GT premiums that have this function.

Congrats! You need to have the Active Valve Exhaust to get it, so just make sure that's the case!

It needs to be an automatic transmission and have the active exhaust switch

You can use remote window down on the 2021 but remote rev wasn't introduced until 2024

Does it have a Ford premium care for when this stuff quits working after 3 yr 36k has expired
You can extend the warranty if you need to at time of purchase or just before the basic warranty expires but I haven't seen much in forums about active valve failing - there have been a few people mention issues that are usually tied to exposed wires from friction, aftermarket tips installed wrong or a blown fuse
Does the key rev come with all the gt’s ? No matter the package ?
As long as you have Active Valve and an automatic transmission in the new S650 you'll have it!

Yup.. could you imagine remote starting a manual but you forgot to drop it into neutral?
It would have been nice if the remote start feature could also work with a manual transmission, perhaps with a system that only allows it when the gearbox is in neutral. This would ensure safety and convenience for those who prefer a manual transmission.
Remote start in a manual would be neat but I'd be a little wary of a car that can just drop itself out of gear
It's not letting me start it from the key
Make sure that it’s enabled through the infotainment system. Settings -> vehicle settings -> remote start setup
